Hi,
I am trying to make a claim for my egg card but do not have any details of where to send the letter. My card was taken over by Barclaycard and the account now closed. can someone please help with an address of where I send the letter to.
Thank you in advance.0 -
Barclaycard to start with. If they refuse it, go to Egg next.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

I am trying to find out if I did take out PPI on an Egg loan and an Egg credit card. How do I get the ball rolling? I need to know who to contact in the first place. Getting no joy at the moment as no-one seems to be able to find my accounts. The woes of an over zealous shredder!!! I closed the Egg Loan in 2007 and the Egg card in 2006.0

Hello there,
I would like to send this message to taff if I may.
I am now going to put my situation into clarity for you.
I obtained an Egg Loan in 2006 for £ 8,901 of which Egg added £ 3,797.97 PPI to it. I went into an INDIVIDUAL VOLUNTARY ARRANGEMENT (IVA) on
23 March 2007 which I was in until 1 March 2012. Under this arrangement, Egg Banking Plc were LEGALLY BOUND and therefore HAVE TO AGREE ON EVERYTHING THE LAW OR MY IVA SUPERVISORS SAY.
Also, I had a complaint UPHELD by Egg in November 2009 saying that I was awarded a refund of £ 2,020.01 from my PPI and this should be REDUCED in MY LOAN DEBT. This was paid into my IVA by Egg - and now the main point - NEVER EVER REDUCED IN MY LOAN DEBT I HAD WITH THEM. In 2011,Egg REDUCED paid £ 2,281.97 being the remainder of my PPI into my IVA - but this was REDUCED in my LOAN DEBT and I was awarded £ 200 compensation which again was reduced in my IVA - BUT NOT REDUCED IN MY LOAN DEBT and £ 34.99 was also paid to Egg on my behalf by my IVA supervisors as an EXTRA IVA payment - THIS WAS NEVER REDUCED IN MY LOAN DEBT.
THE MAIN THING IS THAT EVERYTHING EGG PAID INTO MY IVA MUST ALSO BE REDUCED IN THE LOAN DEBT of which THEY PROMISED TO ME AND TO THE FOS back in November 2010. THIS IS THE LAW.
Taff, upto this point, Egg AGREED with the courts and CLAIMED the I owed them through my IVA £ 7,980.32 under the IVA rules and the INSOLVENCY ACT which Egg were LEGALLY BOUND TO.
This IVA DEBT was written off closed and cleared on 1 February 2012.
On 7 March wrote off a LOAN DEBT of £ 6,471.50 AFTER REDUCING THE LOAN DEBT by £ 3,763.82 being the IVA dividend payments.
my MISS SOLD PPI of £ 2,020.01, £ 200 compensation awarded to me in 2011 and the £ 34.99 EXTRA IVA PAYMENT WERE NEVER REDUCED IN MY LOAN DEBT when Egg wrote it off on 7 March 2012.
PROOF that Egg GAINED from my closed loan debt £ 6,471.50 and received an EXTRA £ 3,763.82 from my IVA on 7 March 2012.
Also, under my IVA agreement, the CREDITOR MUST ISSUE ANNUAL STATEMENTS TO THE DEBTOR - I haven't received any since APRIL 2010 and therefore a BREACH OF STATUTORY DUTY by Egg and under Sections 77A & 77B I am entitled by law to receive every penny Egg received from my IVA supervisors since APRIL 2010 when they entered a period of NON-COMPLIANCE meaning they broke the law since April 2010.
I am entitled to receive from Egg an EXTRA £ 3,763.82.
Canada Square Operations have refused to respond to any communications I make to them since 2011 and also sent FALSE INFORMATION of my loan debt to the FOS in February 2012 to be used against me in July 2012.
Now do you understand my situation?
THEY OWE ME at least my MISS SOLD PPI of £ 2,020.01 when they wrote it off when they left it on my loan debt on 7 March 2012.
I never received any information of them becoming Canada Square Operations whatsoever.
Any ideas on how I can get my money back from them without going to court as I cannot afford to do so?

Nope. It still doesn't make sense.
Find a local CAB and go and see them.
You cannot use sections of the Credit Agreement Act to go for unenforceability of a debt and breach of stautory duty, if the debt is a loan, and you have already entered an IVA. Forget about non-compliance, Egg owe you nothing for that.
You are not owed any money at all. You didn't pay the debt in the first place, the amount that was taken off, if it was put in the IVA pot, does not also come off the 'loan debt' or you're being paid that money twice.
No one owes you any money. Forget about it and get on with your life. As I said before, if you want help, go and find a CAB and they can explain it to you, or ask your IVA supervisor.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
Taff!!!
HOW DARE YOU!!!!
If you want to know, my PPI was reduced and paid off by my IVA as well as the £ 200 compensation and £ 34.99 payment which my IVA supervisors paid on my behalf in 2011.
About the NON-COMPLIANCE, Egg kept to the Consumer Credit Act regarding annual statements between 2007 and 2010 AND NOTHING AFTER THAT. SO where are my statements covering 2010, 2011 and 2012 then TAFF, where are they? I am entitled to see them FREE OF CHARGE as Egg were LEGALLY BOUND TO OBEY EVERY INSTRUCTION and EVERY LAW given under the IVA rules which says that the CREDITOR MUST SEND STATEMENTS TO THE DEBTOR WHILE IN THE IVA AGREEMENT. Egg entered the NON-COMPLIANCE in 2010.
The law says this regardless of what you say, Egg BROKE IT!!!
Egg reduced their IVA CLAIM OF MY DEBT TO THEM between
September 2011 and 1 March 2012 from £ 12,517.29 to £ 7,980.32
This £ 7,980.32 was written off CLOSED & CLEARED by the courts on 1 February 2012. On 7 March 2012, Egg wrote off £ 6,471.50.
Now EXPLAIN TO ME - TAFF WHY THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BEWTEEN THEM ?
Egg LEGALLY AGREED one amount then wrote off a DIFFERENT ONE 5 weeks later AFTER the LEGAL HAD ALREADY BEEN WRITTEN OFF, EXPLAIN THAT TO ME?
Why was £ 2,020.01 from my miss sold PPI, £ 200 compensation and the £ 34.99 extra IVA payment LEFT ON MY LOAN DEBT when Egg wrote it off on 7 March 2012, when it was ALREADY WRITTEN OFF BY THE COURTS 5 weeks EARLIER?
I cannot make it any clearer for you.
Egg owes me at least the £ 2,020.01 from my miss sold PPI which was NOT REDUCED IN FULL FROM MY LOAN DEBT. I have not paid any money twice as you sugested!!!!
I kept an eye on my loan debt and my IVA while in the IVA and this was and is the only problem I have. My IVA supervisors were a top accounting firm GRANT THORNTON, so there were NO PROBLEM WITH MY IVA WHATSOEVER - the problem is with Egg and no one else!!!
By the way, my IVA supervisors AGREED WITH ME in saying that Egg HAD BROKEN THE LAW and they do owe me the money.
Also, what I said above, my IVA claim was reduced by Egg from
£ 12,517.29 down to £ 7,980.32 DUE TO THE FACT THAT
£ 3,797.97 (my PPI) plus £ 504.01 interest plus £ 200 plus £ 34.99.
This was the LEGAL AGREEMENT under the IVA rules.
My loan debt according to Egg was
£ 12,517.29 minus £ 2,281.97 AND THAT WAS IT!!!
Any answers, TAFF?0 -
Shouting won't make you right.0
-
I was not shouting!!!
Just making a point to Taff!!!
I used to work as a Bookkeeper for an accounts firm in London and I do know what I am doing. Also, I have had these comments checked over by a lawyer and my complaint to Egg was decided by a Judicial Review at the Royal Courts of Justice that Egg HAD COMMITTED THEFT and MUST PAY BACK THE MONEY IN FULL regardless.
I have been told that I can use extracts from the Consumer Credit Act if I want to because I was point out was part of the Act Egg were BREACHING and that were sections 77A & 77B as well as Section 140B.
Just to clear it up, the high court wrote off an AGREED IVA LOAN DEBT
of £ 7,980.32 BEFORE ANY DIVIDEND PAYMENTS WERE MADE TO EGG reduced from £ 12,517.29 on 1 February 2012.
Egg wrote off 5 weeks later £ 6,471.50 AFTER reducing the debt by
£ 3,763.82 being the dividend payments.
If the dividend payments were not made then this would be the amounts written off - IVA LOAN DEBT £ 7,980.32, Egg £ 10,235.32
SO Taff, for the second time, where are the amounts £ 2,020.01, £ 200 and £ 34.99 totalling £ 2,255 according Egg's loan debt and why have I been charged this amount for the removal of my own PPI?
I did pay PPI being £ 752.98 before I went into my IVA.0
