• I finally got to speak with someone today regarding my cheque after I called up and asked to speak with Ian Clark to make a compliant. They chap on the phone was very helpful and took my details down and said someone will call me within 5 minutes with an update.....and after 5 minutes I got the call as promised.

The chap on the phone took me through security questions and then said we have not received any forms from you let...even though I have sent 2 forms signed back. But he asked me scan and email him a copy if I had one...which I did :D. So I emailed him and he has now confirmed that my cheque has been ordered and will be with me in the next 15 working days!!!

I have now also received an email to say they have received my signed acceptance forms.....so finally getting somewhere.
• Please can someone post Ian clarks email address at Citi. I have tried FSA and can't find it.
Thank you
• Hello, I'm in same boat - sent the signed agreement back on 28th Sept, waited and no cheque. I've called Egg and been directed to an email address which doesn't work ... so I'd be really interested to know how to get hold of someone.
Thanks very much.

Not many seem to be reading this from earlier in the thread:
My bank agreed to refund PPI but I'm still waiting, can I speed things up?
Sadly this is a common, frustrating problem. Banks say it should be within 28 days, but it could be 8-12 weeks. You'll get interest on the payout up to the date it's issued though, so that's a minor consolation. If the delay's unreasonable, there's nothing to stop you contacting it to say you aren't happy, and asking for extra compensation for distress and inconvenience.

Ian.Paul.Clark@Citi.com was the address I sent my email to, assuming that is the correct one.

If you Google "Ian Clark FSA" should be the first option
• I emailed Ian Clark Tuesday night, Citi rang me wed and my cheque arrived yesterday despite them saying it would be 15 days.
• Hi everyone

I am posting this message to help you all stay positive as I have just rcvd my chq from egg and i applied july. my acceptance letter from egg was dated 3rd august and i sent the acceptance form by return post. i went down the same road of chasing as a lot of people have mentioned and eventually spoke with chris lynam of customer services. he can be reached via email: crt.pleaseassist@citi.com just mark it for his attention I have no doubt that all monies will be paid out eventually, to be honest I was doubting I would ever see my chq when there was no contact or reponse from egg. I was informed that egg has been split in two so contact details that we originally had can no longer be used by either party. so please use the email address i have listed here and although they are abysmal with time schedules and promises take heart that I have finally had my claim settled. good luck and like me please post on this forum when you have been paid to encourage others that are waiting.:T

Agreed, just keep going. Mine was banked today :)

I understand that people keep saying just to wait 6-8 weeks etc, but with Egg technically no longer exisiting and no way of contacting them direct, It pays to be on the ball so things dont get left or lost. Especially when many of the acceptance forms went back to Derby and not the London address where the cheque comes from.

Good luck all :)

I had an email response from Simon Cooper earlier today confirming they had received my signed acceptance form and to expect my cheque by next week at the latest.

I concur with Abi, it does pay to be on the ball with this given the Egg split (no pun intended, honest!!)

Keep going peoples, we'll get there in the end!!
