I've had the same problem. Can no longer get anyone to answer the phone.
I got a letter from Egg saying that i would receive my cheque within 14 days. I've emailed several times, but with no reply.
Anyone got any ideas what to do next? Help!!!!0 -
Go to the FSA website and look up Citibank International PLC. You will then find a section showing who is head of complaints (Ian Clark) it also shows his email address.0

Similar story here. Sent my acceptance letter back on the 22nd September after receiving 'claim upheld' letter within 3 weeks of making the claim. The 15 days ends on Monday but I know it will take longer.
Hope it comes before i go to Center Parcs in November - I could certainly use it there!

I had exactly the same problem. I sent off the signed acceptance form to Egg on 25 September and I'm still waiting for my cheque. It would be great to know the email address of the guy at Citibank.0

That's less than three weeks ago?Brandy_2011 wrote: »I sent off the signed acceptance form to Egg on 25 September and I'm still waiting for my cheque.
Here's the MSE advice article on this topic.MSE_ADVICE_ARTICLE wrote:My bank agreed to refund PPI but I'm still waiting, can I speed things up?
Sadly this is a common, frustrating problem. Banks say it should be within 28 days, but it could be 8-12 weeks. You'll get interest on the payout up to the date it's issued though, so that's a minor consolation. If the delay's unreasonable, there's nothing to stop you contacting it to say you aren't happy, and asking for extra compensation for distress and inconvenience.0 -
I'm having the same problem, it's so frustrating!! They made a decision to uphold my complaint within 3 weeks, which is really quick compared to other companies but they don't seem to be so quick to issue the refund! I signed my acceptance form and sent it back on 18th September.....i have managed to speak to someone once and they said there's a backlog etc but now you can't even speak to anyone!!! I am going to email Citibank every day until i get a response!0

I used a claim company who were only charging 10% and I received a letter from Egg that my claim was upheld. I signed the acceptance form on 25th September and posted this to Egg at their address in Derby however they have recently changed the name to Canada Square Operations and are now based in Worthing. I recently got my claim company to follow this up and received a letter from Canada Square Operations that they have not received my acceptance form.
I have signed the form again and posted this to their new address in Worthing now with recorded delivery but been told by my claim company that as they have a back log the cheque will take around 6 weeks!
The wait for the cheque continues....0 -

I'm the same - extremely dissappointed that my acceptance letter was signed for on 17th September and a month on, I have received nothing!
Completely shocking - I have emailed countless times since and received no acknowledgement whatsoever. shocking!0
