• Anyone care to guess how many threads asking if this is cause to cancel the contract will be started as a result of this !

Will it stop the verbal diarrhoea of the hive mentality,
that needs to consult everybody on earth before doing the simplest thing?

If the Vodafone communications network was a sentient being like Sky.net in Terminator, surely it must be driven insane by all the inanity, and resolve to exterminate humanity?

Judgement Day Awaits.

Guess what, O2 are the next mse news for price rises. They are all putting them up.
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
• Probably a good time to repost the link to the Which? Fixed Means Fixed campaign:

• the reaction in this thread seems to be one of rolling eyes at those vodafone customers unhappy with this news, which i find a bit weird.

I agree, surely you are entitled to feeling a little disgruntled at being hit with a price rise on a contract that you were given the impression the cost was fixed...
I don't think I can hang on til Friday...
• Reason enough why I will never touch a mobile "contract" ever again. I got caught up in Vodafone's price increase fiasco over the "soft" data limit when they introduced a hard data cap. I managed to escape their clutches early thank god and will never go near a contract again.

It's almost laughable how a company can increase a cost and still force its customers to pay up by locking them into a terrible 18 month prison sentence.

This is the straw that broke the camel's back!! I have been with Vodafone since it was singlepoint - 1983, I have had several battles with them in the intervening years, but this year is a joke, the Email customer services are (I can't think of an adjective to describe them) F***ing useless is the nearest thing I can think of. The only way to get a problem solved is to go to a Vodafone shop & stay there until it is resolved - Talking to, or Emailing the overseas call centres is a complete waste of time, I will be cancelling my contract even though it has 18 months to run. I will change to Orange as their coverage is better and they are now cheaper! I suggest that you all take a similar stance and hope the b***ards go wallop.

Their customer service is dreadful as I found to my cost of calling them etc. In the end I escalated it and dug my heels in. After many months they took me seriously and I then had their secret email in the UK which is not published. I of course can't publish this as vodafonedirectorsoffice@vodafone.com as they will be flooded with complaints, mind you if they want to play dirty and unfair;)
