I think most people are now aware of the way 'breeder' is used pejoratively by some, no point being coy.

Swine flu wouldn't be an excuse for saying the things he's said either.

That's why I left it out, and you haven't answered.
But then I reckon if you wake someone with swine flu every hour, you'd soon be told where to go.

Only if you'll tell me a story.

    Haven't answered what?

Parents get flu, they still have to be parents, the babies don't generally let them have a break while they look after themselves!

I didn't use the word 'breeder', I used the word 'breed' which is technically correct and which I always use in every post pertaining to having children (if you can be bothered to look back at my posting history...and I don't blame you if you can't because I certainly wouldn't.)

I'm not going to change the terminology I use.

We have a friend with ME.

After reading some of the snap diagnoses on here, I can really only offer one comment.

If any of you said to her, she should get out of her wheelchair, or stop taking the constant pain killers, or woke her up when she had fallen asleep in the middle of the day, because she couldn't sleep at night, compalined she was snappy because she hasn't slept more than an hour at a time for a week, complained she couldn't remember anything for the same reason, told her to make her own supper, you'd be leaving a lot faster than you came.

(And if my wife's mother ever said that to my wife if she had it, she wouldn't even be stopping to get her false teeth from the cup by the bed)

ME is like flu, ha, she'd trade you flu anyday.

Unfortunately Mikey, some people on here cannot see that, they only see a young baby, a stressed mum, and a "lazy, selfish" dad.
Many people today are not interested in other people's medical problems if they are difficult to understand, or if in the case of ME, they have been disputed by some in the medical profession and the media.

So the strains of flu that leave people poleaxed in hospital, or dead. You'd expect them to effectively parent?

By the way...what's your problem with the word 'breed'?

It's a derogatory term when used about people. Come on ww, you're better than this.

The OP's husband doesn't appear to be poleaxed in hospital or dead.

Still debating then? I thought you didn't want to be bored by it?
