Galaxy S3 or phone5?

Oh no....here we go again.....
Do yourself a favour and take a look at the new WP8 Lumias (especially the 920)
They should be out soon....then you'll take yourself out of the great (and totally pointless) Android vs Apple argument.
If only Windows phone had the app ecosystem that iOS (and to a less extent Android) has.0 -
If you want a fantastic gadget then get the S3 or OneX and tinker and amaze to your heart's content.
If you want some gadget features in a user friendly, gorgeous but expensive wrapper, then get the iphone (4S or 5).
If you want something different and could really make use of an amazing camera, then wait for the Nokia Lumia 920.0 -
What difference would that make?WelshBluebird wrote: »If only Windows phone had the app ecosystem that iOS (and to a less extent Android) has.0 -
Help!
I have an galaxy S. Now looking to buy a new phone, but am stuck between iPhone 5 and S3.
I have always said I would never get an iPhone because the lack of flash annoys me enough on my ipad2.
However as I have an iPad & an iPod the thought of having everything shared & synced with icloud is appealing. That said I have not purchased many apps (quite a few free ones though!) and only a couple of albums. same on android not purchased many apps.
Despite having an iPad I use my phone for browsing the Internet at lot when out and about, hence why I like the idea of S3 as it has the bigger screen. Whereas the iphone 5 only has a 4inch screen which I believe is the same size as my current galaxy S, which I find quite small now.
Do like the look of note 2 but have given up waiting for a release date!
The flash thing is a bug bearer as for example I just went to buy footy tickets on my iPad but cannot choose my seats as the map doesn't appear, it does on my android pad. Grrrr!
Does it make more sense to get the iPhone 5 if already have iPad & iPod?
I am waffling now, if your still reading help an indecisive person choose a new phone!!!If my posts have random wrong words, please blame the damn autocorrect not me

Are you saying that Windows Phone isn't a viable alternative to iOS and Android simply because it has less apps?0

Well i would have thought app availability would play a big part when choosing a smartphone. Or should you only make calls and admire the curves on your shiny new £500 smartphone? Then perhaps a £50 phone could do the same job?Are you saying that Windows Phone isn't a viable alternative to iOS and Android simply because it has less apps?0 -

With core smartphone tech built in like email, sat nav, browsing and Facebook, twitter and linkdin through the OS you don't really need that many apps for windows phone.
In case you do, there's over 100,000. And before you quote the gazillions available on other platforms remember; one fart sound app is enough - you don't need 20 that do the same job.0 -

I had a look on the windows app store this week, as you say the usual facebook, twitter etc is there, but stuff like banking, british gas, npower , autotrader etc were not, not sure I would want to spend around £500 on a device that is not as flexible as the two main rivals it competes against.0
