If you are after Android phones why not go for new Razr I.
 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/news/9550313/Motorola-introduces-Razr-I-smartphone-with-Intel-chip.html
The phone is one of the fastest available and since Motorola is part of Google now, updates will be better supported then others.0

With 100m+500Mb it's available for 24*£20.50 (!) at Affordable mobiles.

Am I missing something grumbler, or has the deal changed? There appears to be a £119 up front charge for the phone with the £20.50 deal.
EDIT: Just noticed there's a code in the HUKD post to remove that charge. As you were ...There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.

I don't think the Razr i competes in the same sector. It has a smaller, lower resolution screen than the S3 (which of course, may not matter to many). There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.

Aside from the many facets of the Apple v Android debate there i think the Samsung S3 has two very clear advantages in that it has a removable battery and an SD card slot allowing you to expand the memory.
Whilst having so many wonderful features modern smartphones suffer with poor battery life and you spend all day turning off, toggling or monitoring all the clever features you bought the phone for in the first place. With a spare battery to hand this is not an issue.
Being able to expand the SD storeage means that without fear you can load up your extensive MP3 collection and also all those HD movies and photos.0

I am thinking about upgrading to the iPhone 5 but my only concern is that the shape looks a little bit long.
The only way to test this is to pop into the shop and and have a play with the keyboard when texting or browsing.
Whilst i am firmly an Android fan its all swings and roundabouts. As per my previous post i think a removable battery and expandable memory are great on the Samsung S3. However, the Iphone 5 despite the bigger screen is a lot more pocket and one handed use friendly. In addition, despite its marvellous specs the S3 still has an awful plasticy finish for such a premium product.0

Cheap ( compared to IPhone ) battery and sd card always a very big consideration when i buy a phone .Sim Free probably the number one selling point though for me .
Not forgetting working decent free maps the more the better .

Where do i find this traffic app pleaseiamsporticus wrote: »Each operating system has their rabid fans who dont like the other
From an objective point of view however Im asking myself the same question
Personally Im leaning towards the S3 for the following:
 1) its not an iphone
 2) over 2y the total cost is approx £570 (deals inc Quidco) versus £1100 for a similar contract
 3) again its a personal thing but IMHO the killer app on the iphone is 4G but as EE havent said how much this will cost above the £1100 cost Im not interested yet
 4) Google traffic on their Android map app is just superb, it may be that OS6 has this but on Android its live, its free, its mature and it has saved me hours stuck in traffic jams this summer alone
In its favour the iphone manages music more easily via itunes, however drag and drop or several apps from the Google Market also do this albeit with a bit more hassle
And dont forget the new Apple connector
 cheers
oh keep it simple pleaseSpending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.0
