Galaxy S3 or phone5?

For those asking for the £22/mth S3 deal, the site that can't be named on here do the S3 (no upfront cost) with 300 mins/ul texts and 750 data on T Mobile for an 'effective' cost of just over £22/mth. 24 months contract. But that is with redemption, the 'actual' monthly cost is £26. £27 TCB cash back as well though. Possible £20 and a few pennies per month net.0

The OP needs to decide which features matter to them in order to choose. I understand that the iPhone 5 has an extremely fast processor, is very thin, has 4G capability and is an Apple (if that matters). The Galaxy 3 has expandable memory, a higher resolution screen, NFC and is an android phone if that matters. And the latest generation of WP(8) phones are starting to appear so should at least be considered.
I'm not convinced that app availibility is a major consideration over hardware and OS features (certainly with an Apple/Android decision - it's maybe different for WP) as there are apps for almost every eventuality available for both Apple and Android phones now. There's love in this world for everyone. AFAIK, it's just marginally faster than S3: http://hexus.net/mobile/news/apple/45293-iphone-5s-a6-processor-detailed-benchmarked/...I understand that the iPhone 5 has an extremely fast processor, ....0 -

Yes this is the one
Its available for £26/month and no cost for the phone via the site not named
or for the same but approx £30-60 for the phone at Carphone Warehouse through their website or shops, the CW price has changed a lot over the summer
Choice of either £10 off or 3x£26 by redemption and Quidco too, this has also varied in the time Ive been waiting for my contract to end and is currently £27 but has been quite a lot more
Im planning on porting to Giffgaff (from TMobile actually) then waiting for the Quidco to go up again and probably chancing the redemption offer0 -

Its' actually a very good deal even if you had the intention of immediately flogging the phone to (almost) recoup the full (net) 24 month contract price and buying summat cheaper. Result? Very cheap sim deal:D (I personally find the S3 too big. Beautiful but big)0 -
thanks, is there a reason it cant be named?
cant see any rules saying cant name certain sites
assuming its mobiles. co. uk or buymobilephones or similar0 -

I'm guessing the Note 2 isn't for you then? There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.

LOL, no. A friend has one and swears by it but it's a bit like carrying a tablet around with you. Having said that, I do have small hands!
I just think it's funny how the mobile has evolved - we all laughed at those bricks from the 80s when the mobile got ever smaller but now it seems like we are going back to the 80s size-wise
S2 dimensions:
125.3 x 66.1 x 8.5 mm
Weight 116 g
S3 dimensions:
136.6 x 70.6 x 8.6 mm
Weight 133 g
Where's it all going to end up at size wise?0 -
I'm a well known Apple geek amongst my friends and family but I must say that I'm considering getting the Samsung Galaxy S3. I was completely underwhelmed when the iPhone 5 was announced.
There's nothing new there and I just feel like a change.Wins so far - Revlon Lip Butter, Teapigs Matcha tea, Johnsons Face Care Gentle Exfoliating Wash:j0
