  • Bit of a rotten day today, woke up with a terrible migraine. threw up as soon as I was upright. A few years ago I would have gone to work. But this morning I thought sod it. I do not care. And I really don't.

    So I slept all day. got my second job now, can't afford to lose the money esp since I feel better and have just borrowed 7 grand.

    Got work to do when I come home.

    Am also on the My House is a mess Thread. It knocked me the other day that I had been on the thread for a year and not made much progress. My room is better but gets me down and I was doing ok till the arrival of the puppies! we can't put anything down and most stuff gets dumped there. It has all been tidy at various points.....just doesn't stay that way................

    I think this mess is partly what triggered the migraine- that and the being ill last week not resting at the weekend (Bathroom painting) and doing housework stuff last night.

    best get on late for work now!

  • Blimey has it been that long Mags!

    I am back in debt as of this weekend just gone tho, at least this time it is for sort of decent reasons (finish my masters, pay for an op and the dentist)

    Bit depressing as essentially I won't be able to get a house till I have won the lottery!

    well I will have to make a better plan then that but you get the idea!!

    It is good to see you again! :)

    Thanks so much for the warm welcome back, the last time I posted on my old diary was February (and then today) I just got out of the habit of it and made twitter my online home for a bit. I've started a new diary for 2013.

    :( to health problems.

  • Well it is the first day of my Christmas holidays.

    I should be thrilled with being at home but to be absolutely honest I am not!!

    The house is a mess. And I mean a MESS.

    Essentially Mum has normally been to Florida and I have normally deep cleaned the house so Christmas means just a regular clean and all is well.

    However Mum is going in January so the house is a tip. She doesn't notice stuff and gets so grumpy if I do anything - she takes it as a criticism.

    Sorry am watching Sky News doing a piece on the End of the World! apparently there is a Mountain in France that has Aliens living in it who will save humans............or that a door will open to another dimension.

    Very difficult to write seriously about life with that being on Sky News!

    In short although the stress of work has been diverted for two weeks it is just replaced with stress of home life.

    so yeah bit miserable here. I think I had got myself a bit more cheerful about being here till I got a mortgage but now I am back to thinking oh dear........am stuck here!!

    Mind you my life has changed a fair amount recently so I guess you never know what is going to happen!

    Need to write a list for today but have a tummy ache...........*yawns*

    *curls up on the sofa*

    xx

  • Can hardly move in my room tho.

    Just had shocking news about my friend's mum - she has died.

    am on alert in my mate needs me, she has her brother and her bf (I think they are ok) but you never know.

    sorting out Christmas presents upstairs, done pretty well really. got a couple of bits to get, my friend's eldest son, a contribution to the christmas party I am going to on Sunday and my other friend's youngest son. oh and some stuff for stockings. must try and get to sweet shop tomorrow and also find those toy cars I bought. why is there always one present that goes missing.........I bought them in Homebase now what would I have done with that bag?

  • this could take some doing.

    per month

    Rent = 750 (included car insurance and some food)

    Phone = 30 (not always more like 20 but to be safe)

    Food = 40 x4 = 160 (me and the piggies, gerbils and fish!)

    Petrol = 30 X 4= 120

    Beauty (!) = 50

    Car = 50

    nights out/ weekends away? = £200?

    Travel = 20 (oyster)

    pets = 100 (vet savings and 1/2 insurance for the dogs, it might be more tho)

    that makes = £1480

    Debts = 221 (ideally it 1000 per month to have it paid off by July. or not looking at what I have left. more like 400)

    Ok Maths not my strong point. BRB.
