I have a suggestion... hard learnt from similar run-self-into-ground, recover, repeat habits...
DE prioritise. Drop something. If you aren't managing to do it all at once, it's because it's too much.
So decide what can wait, and what can't. Then work on the stuff that needs to come first. I would suggest getting to the doctors should be top of that list. Then dating. Then decide you're either going to declutter/ get organised, or eat better/ lose weight (it seems to me those goals are basically related). But not all of them at the same time.

Hi Buffy,
been lurking but not posting. Sorry to hear of your friend's little girl, I am thinking of them and hoping all comes good.
As above, you can't do everything at once, that way trouble lies
It's a real cliche, but the only way to really get to grips with everything is to really look inside and think about what's really important. Doesn't matter if it's your job/pups/new hair/whatever, you probably know what you would really like to sort out first of all.
If things are important enough, you will find time to do them. No shame at all in saying they aren't important.
Will stop now as I'm one of those who hates stuff being shoved down their throat. I know you'll get there in your own time

Rosa xx
I was thinking of quitting my second job until I logged in to my bank account and discovered that I am quite overdrawn.
147 pounds over drawn to be precise.
I think I might do an SOA - for my eyes only! as honestly I am v ashamed of how lax I have been with money since I became debt free. I have literally been doing what I want buying what I want - short term view, fire fighting like I said before.
So yeah SOA.

£150 is hardly disastrous, especially when you have savings.
I say drop the second job anyway, and resolve to use the free time wisely.

I guess it is not really just bugged me.....All sorted now.
Had to use some of my savings to sort it so now my deposit account has 1600 in it. I opened some savings account with my main acc to save for puppy, Car and "beauty" expenses (hair and facials!!) and I set up a SO to pay 850 into my deposit acc each month. Actually I need another account for the other pets.
I am still paying my union fees (20) and holiday (10) savings from my spending money account - this comes out of my other current account. I did have loads of savings account attached to that account but I think that is part of the reason why I went over drawn - the money was coming out of my spending(my second job wage) - which ran out.
my aim is to use my second job wages to live off of and save as much of my main wage as I can.
so tired. need to go to bed.

Buffffffster my fab friend.
Just wanted to whizz by and give you a big hug.
You do give yourself a hard time and methinks maybe think a little too much.
I have given up thinking..hurts my brain. And whenever I plan something someone always comes along and f**ks it up. :rotfl:

Ahhhh Buffy, the rat race thing. Yes thats me, hurtling through life without enjoying it.
And when I do get 5 minutes for me I get a guilt thing going on, should be doing this or that.
I look around and everything needs doing, from ironing to decorating - the works. But I can't do it all at once.
Deep breath, one thing at a time.DC.

Honestly not great I miss being here, I miss being part of something positive. I know it sounds stupid but this website has really kept me together at times.
I simply do not have time and hate myself for saying it.
I might just go to bed now.

Even just a few minutes on here can help you feel positive x
