Lol work is dreadful tho, scary and full of backstabbers. am trying to ignore and deal with what I can. tough tho.
Also the private hospital I went to with the skin cancer have turned out to be less than organised. I am reluctant to take time off work as well so that is still there on the end of my nose needing to be removed. I rang them today to get them to send my results to my doctor since they seem a bit !!!!.New boyfriend???
He is helping me to look on the bright side. met on a dating website, gone on two dates. not exactly a boy friend yet but am happy there.
Money wise I am pretty much done re Christmas shopping, the car is about to cost me loads and whilst I have savings I have also spent another whack on Facials. They have improved my skin hugely. As I sit here now I have one spot...it is amazing. Costly tho. But honestly priceless in terms of confidence.
Which leads me to my next conundrum.
DO I borrow the 20,000 needed for a deposit?
I have been writing as tho I would borrow it. But honestly that bothers me.
However, I clearly suck at saving. I haven't saved much at all, been debt free for 18 months and got £2000.
I have put my life on hold because of money (and ok other things) for about 5 years now. My original debts from Uni and stupid decisions in my 20s have gone. As have my 20s!
This loan would have a purpose and method of paying it off. The sooner I got it the quicker I could pay it off.
I HATE the thought of leaving Mum alone, I know it has to be done. I have been looking at houses and flats too that are right neartby. I also have a friend who would lodge with me to help with costs.
BUT borrowing the money does bother me. I worked so hard to get out of debt.
Saving it would take another two years. At least. Nearly 40 then. no !!!!ing way.
I will get over borrowing it..........this is all airy fairy anyway since I don't know if the bank will give me a loan!

Are you still looking for other jobs?
You can't get a bank loan for a house deposit unfortunately Buffy, they ask for the source and a lot of mortgages require no other debt now too.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

Hmmm. When I went to the Halifax in the Summer they said I could get a loan for a deposit, but with the skin cancer I held off making a decision.
!!!!!!.
Looks like I may have to rent then?
