As to the annoyance of the message switching wifi to data, depends if your phone is rooted if so there is an elegant fix if not it can still be done but in a different way using an app instead.
Thanks could have sworn i looked under all the settings but have got it now. Will have a look at getting that internet message fixed its only a pest but its annoying that it does it every time i leave the house.0 -

I am using B940, an 'official' version from the Velcom operator in Belarus. Reason being its virtually pure, unbranded ICS. It doesn't have the wifi or volume bugs and no one has messed with it or tried to tune it up. Generally it has been stable over long periods with no crashes or slow downs.
I am quite glad now, I just bought a spare phone for my wife, a San Francisco II that had already been flashed with the popular Fish&Chips ROM. Its still taken quite a while to fix the known bugs and undo some of the creators customisation not to my liking.
My phone has been rooted but the bootloader left alone didn't bother with CWM Recovery either.
It does have the spell check bug, easily fixed if the phone is rooted by copying a couple of files over. Doesn't even have the huawei weather widget, but thats easily found and put back if wished.0 -
I can concur with SillyGoose that B940 works a charm...
Mine is unrooted and I still managed to fix the dictionary, just need to wade through this thread for the details.0 -
Thanks sillygoose.0
