I keep failing and reading through this thread to find the answer. What is the best pay monthly sim card at the moment? Looking for £8 or under if can do. With free texts, calls and internet. Either on or off the network. I havent cancelled my tmobile as yet but with this latest news im off. Having a new baby stops you doing things!

I think you need the Ovivo thread, go through all it because the offer seems to change but basically its a PAYG that has certain amount of free allowances and if you top it up right you can get quite a lot for very little, not something I need so can't say I have read up on all of it.

Also may depend if your phone is unlocked as to which networks you can switch too.

It runs on Vodaphone I think. I know if you stick £10 crdit on for 3 months you can then stop and carry on getting 200mins 200txts 500mb from then on free.

GiffGaff is a safe bet on the £10 deal, 250 mins, unlimited texts 1GB data will cover most people easily with nothing more to pay.

It's now £15 for the sim which you get back in credit and 150 mins, 150 texts and 400MB data.

Spotted on Argos website for £85 for those that don't want to go the very route. It also appears to be this price on Amazon as well now.

Although you have to purchase £10 airtime via Argos.

So its starting to go clearance, Vodaphone have been selling them nearly new (less than 7 days old) for £80 delivered so its probably driven the price down.

Sainsburys, Isme and Very seem to have stopped stocking.

Would seem so, although Vodafone still, £120 for new (unopened box). I assume the £80 are customer returns? Still a good price.

Still people listing them on ebay at over £120.
  • Proof positive that the G330 is coming to the end of its exclusive talktalk mobile period?

PS Mine is driving me nuts at the moment (still on ics as couldn't manage to get it back to the previous OS). Anyway, when I make a call the screen goes completely blank whilst the call is in progress (nothing can be pressed to get a response or fire the screen back into life). The screen only then returns when the call is ended. This also happens if i get to someone's voicemail, even if i don't leave a message I have to wait until the call is over (i.e. when the voicemail has run its course) before the screen comes back. Annoying as hell. I have screen time out set to 10 mins so nothing to do with that. Any ideas? TIA!
