Some of the comments on the HDUK thread are interesting!

The ZTE blade III looks interesting, its spec for spec near identical to the G300 although it has a cheaper screen (TFT instead of IPS). If its cheap enough and unlock codes / rooting become available its a viable alternative.

I used to have a Windows based phone that could be picked up really cheap because as O2 sent it out as upgrades, it was far too hard to use for people migrating from traditional handsets. But once I reflashed it with new software it was superb.

Same may be happening with G300's and Voda, being sent as upgrades and returned when people can't cope with the big leap to smartphone.

G300 is still £100 on Amazon for brand new.

Personally I hope the competition will force cheap dual core versions to drop in price soon.

It's about time they took the G330 out of the talktalk mobile walled garden. If they can, as suggested, sell that at £100 SIM free it would shake up the budget mobile end same as the G300 did.

but i think there is still £30 discount 2D8GZ (was reported still working last week)

so still cheapest at £79 less any Topcashback

Ah, so its back, the Littlewoods sites (Isme/Woolworths/Very) had stopped showing it for a while so I assumed they had had enough of selling them so cheap, guess not..!

Yep my TCB has just become payable today as well!

What an amazing deal this has been through Very, £63 for the phone and Very also sent me discount codes over Xmas to the tune of £50 which I spent on already discounted pressies for the kids.

I can't believe that some posters on here have shunned the Very deal and decieded to pay an extra £30 for the this phone :eek:

Ordered one of these yesterday from isme on next day delivery - not arrived yet... still saying 'order being processed' on their website - does anyone know what time they deliver until?

Is there an option to track the delivery on site with a link to a courier site? can't remember...

Probably not going to arrive today but they use Yodel which can filter down to some mum in a Zafira hurtling around delivering when she can so can even be into the evening (between getting the kids tea and taking them to Cubs!)

yup, order tracking just says 'order being processed' - annoying, when next day delivery was paid for...

Edited to add - opps, sorry, no, not an external link to courier website, just a 'track my order' button on the isme website, whhich takes me to a screen with the order details, order date of today, and the information that is is 'being processed'
