Excuse my ignorance but this being locked to VF, does that mean it comes with all the VF stuff on it? And any updates are purely when VF eventually gets round to it?
I'm currently on a VF SIMo deal but don't particularly want to go back to being 'ruled' by VF!
Thanks in anticipation.
I can't remember seeing any vf stuff on mineWhen will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?0 -
Thanks for that folks.David.0

Is there any other way of doing this that will avoid rooting? The huawei link to their android smart device manager no longer works...

Get this working to get the drivers working then try solution 1 again on a freshly rebooted phone (phone needs to be in debug mode in developer settings if I remember)
Sorry in delay in response - out in the wilds with rare mobile data signal. Happy New Year G300 faithfuls!!!!0 -
I decided to get one from Argos today very happy with the purchase so far although I haven't unlocked it yet because when I tried to purchase on ebay the seller is on holiday. I have been playing with it on wifi and it has already upgraded to ICS Android 4.0.3 through an automatic update.0

Just looking at argos.co.uk, it seems that the G300 is only available with a £10 top up, so the price becomes £109.99.
However, for those with a pile of Nectar points, it could be a way of using them up.0 -
Luckily my mum is on vodaphone PAYG so she will take the top up voucher off my hands.0

I know nothing about mobiles so excuse the ignorance but is vodafone so bad the phone must be unlocked?0

If you're on the Vodafone network or any of the ones who piggyback on it like Asda or Ovivo you don't need to get it unlocked.
If you want to use another network like Orange or 3 etc,you do0
