yes

there is already a default password so nobody can access it without your say so - I just found it too ambiguous so changed it

My son's partner has just got a G300 for Xmas to match his! They currently live in rented accommodation whilst they look for a place of their own so didn't want a landline. After much deliberation I managed to get them a Virgin SIM for £17/mth that allowed tethering and offered:

1200 mins
u/l texts
u/l data
tethering included as standard

His partner didn't need anything like this sort of deal so we went with Ovivo free sim (no unlocking required as use Vodafone) which gives her

100 mins
100 texts
300mb data

Really great thing is when they are both at home she tethers her phone to his for wifi so as not to reduce her data allowance. Some nights both her G300 and the netbook is accessing the net via the WiFi hotspot on the G300 being powered by the Virgin SIM! Like you say, the best £70 you will ever spend!

Just ordered from isme @ £99 - £30 with code.....plus £.3.95 delivery ........not available to call & collect.

It could be yodel delivering but isme do use other couriers this time of year I'm told.

Had to have a phone call to authorise acct first.


A geographical number for isme/littlewoods ect is 0808 1010 021


I'm on vectone/Vodafone x £1........ 30 day contract...................don't laugh it works for me. May not need to unlock it.

Im on talkmobile/cpw/vodafone and didnt need to unlock - but I had to input different data settings

Tried my vectone mobile/sim...........no good also tried agiff gaff 02

Data settings only affect data reception but your sim card affects yourcalls and message reception


Do any of your sims allow calling ?

Otherwise its only £5 to get unlock code for g300 within 48 hours

Emergency calls only, so guess I need porter_ GSM on ebay ........price £4.85

Vectone does not use Voda as a carrier, I think it's EE T Mobile etc so won't work, you need to get it unlocked if you want to use Vectone
