Well the way I look at it is this. If I'd been in and he'd handed it to me but forgot to give me the signing pod then that would be a mistake.

But remember this guy was late so my guess was that 'forgetting' a signature and lobbing it through the window was actually a calculated move to make sure he got off work on time!

There are those of us around who carry out our jobs/professions with care and diligence so saying we all make silly mistakes is simply not true.

We won't know until RM finally get around to investigating it anyway. And obviously such a 'minor' issue doesn't deserve a quick response.
Don't grow up. Its a trap!

    Peace, love and labradors!

So you've never, ever made a mistake whilst performing your duties? Never?

late? what time is your mail delivery guaranteed for?
  • late? what time is your mail delivery guaranteed for?

Honeydog didn't state that the problem might have been because their mail was late, but possibly because the postie was late and might have rushed in order to finish work on time.

    how would they define late?
Do they know the posties start/finish time?
No I would say its another who can't grasp that start/finish times have changed
  • Do they know the posties start/finish time?

Probably not, which would have been why they stated:
    so my guess

Sorry folks but unless you have pertinent new, I repeat, new information which is relevant to my complaint about the delivery then I am not prepared to discuss it with you further.

When there is a reply from RM I will post the contents of their email/letter in full and further discussion is welcomed at that point.

I have shared (and repeated for the hard of understanding ;) ) all of my thoughts, theories and ideas and really have nothing else to say.

A few months ago I promised the forum team that I would play nicely and not let randomers wind me up and I'm sticking to that promise.

    Regards,

    HD

But you folks carry on if you want. :)

Judging by how much this successful royal mail delivery has annoyed you I am not at all surprised you get easily wound up!

Goader78 would be a more appropriate username.
