I am due for an upgrade...and will be calling on Friday and see what is offered.

My previous 3 upgrades have been complete cashback without handset..And they have paid cashback without hassle.

Complete cashback? What tariff are you on? Let me know how you get on!

Called Disconnections this evening---and realized my contract ends actually on 11th June. So, will be calling them in first week of May.

Previous contracts - 200 X-net minutes, 200 extra X-net minutes for 3 months, 400 texts, £35/month, 12 months contract- complete cashback. I have not haggled on any previous renewals. They straightway have offered me this deal. Let's see what they offer on this occasion.

Spoke to retentions. Was immediately offered the £5 p/m net after cashback deal, but there's some deals out there with other companies offering 100% cashback if I change network (such as this one: http://www.buymobilephones.net/mobile-phones/Nokia/Nokia-1208-Free-Line-Rental-Discount/T-Mobile/T-Mobile-20-(18mths)-inc.-Internet/2706233?adnetwork=dgm)

I requested my PAC but was advised to wait until my final cashback claim has been processed (which is probably sensible).

Just spoke with them asking about X10 or Desire and the best they can offer is £30 per month.

The operator said that he knows that Tmobile and Vodafone have much better deals, but O2 have put the prices up, and there is nothing they can do about it.

    Oh well, bye bye O2.

T Mobile have some cracking offers on. I got an HTC HD2 for £241 then £10 a month on a 24 month contract with 100 mins, 100 texts, unlimited landline calls and internet.

When I rang up to cancel my main O2 contract (CPW was an old one my dad took over), when I told them I was leaving as T Mobile were cheaper, they didn't even try to persuade me to stay.

Got this offer from CPW-O2 retentions dept:
    275 X-network min, 250 text
    £20/month, 18 months contract
£300 cashback (which can be claimed at the end of contract all together rather than sending 3 separate claims and cashback is guaranteed)
