Thanks Moneysaver2000 - That is very useful.
My own contract expires at the beginning of August, so I'm would be needing to phone them shortly. I've been on 100% cashback for the last 3 years, but I don't think they will offer me that again (600 minutes, 1000 texts).
Me too - last 4 years. Let me know how you get on and i'll do the same...0 -
Will do - Although looking at previous comments, I don't think they will be offering 100% cashback on a 12 month contract again
If they don't, I think I will be cancelling completely and then taking out a new connection/cashback deal.0 -

Best I've been offered is 18 month contract, £35 per month but with £30 per month cash back equivalent (claim every 6 months).
Usual deal - 600 mins, 1,000 texts. I was advised if I bought say an HTC Desire on PAYG, he could still give me the same cash back deal but also with unlimted internet. Tempted but I dont fancy the £350+ it would cost to get the HTC.
If you are able to find a 100% cash back deal elsewhere, with the same / similar deal as CPW who are also as reliable at paying up, I'd be very interested in hearing about it.

Anyone have the number and option handy please??
Gonna ring them in the morning0 -
0800 424 800 (Free from landline) and follow the options for O2 and then cancellations.
Thanks0 -
Is this also for CPW contracts?
For CPW customer services dial 0870 111 7200 FROM YOUR MOBILE - this is a free call FROM your MOBILE IF YOU ARE AN O2 CPW customer.
This number delas with billings/payments etc AS WELL AS CANCELLATIONS - though when you select option 'want PAC code/thinking of leaving us' you will first be put through to the 'loyalty' team who will want to know why you would even consider leaving them, warn you how unreliable everyone is at paying cashback except them who guarantee it, and then tell you you need to write in for a PAC code.0 -
just to be clear, normally when dialling an 08xx number from your mobile, the costs are extortionate (20ppm or more), BUT the O2 CPW 0870 111 7200 number is the ONLY free 0870 number from your mobile IF YOU ARE AN O2 CPW customer.0

My £1.46 per month (cashback deal) expires on 21 July. Meaning July is the 18th month bill I send for my final cheque.
When could I ring them to discuss an extention or a new deal? Would I have to wait until 21 July or could I do that now and NOT affect my current cashback deal.

I have now been offered:
400 mins (or was it 500 cant remember but hey it's far too much for me anyhow)
1000 text
Unlimited Web
£30 per month x 18 month contract = £540
less Cashback of £450
= £5 per month.
This'll do me nicely. First phone call, no messing, jobs a goodun...0 -
