    I didn't receive anything either.

I sent a request to them via their website with a list of questions that I wanted answering in writing - Contract start date, claim dates, claim periods, amounts, etc - I then received a letter in the post about a week later with everything I wanted in writing :)

    Hi

My mum is due for an upgrade soon. She is currently paying £20 month for 600 mins unlimited texts and data (I think). She would like an Iphone but doesnt want to up her monthly bill, or buy a pay as you go.

Do you think she could get a 3GS for £20 per month? How much for handset, what about refurb?

Want to get an idea if they have offer anything similar before i ring them,

    Thanks

Has anyone had any deals in the past week or so - just checking as they seem to be calling up to 7 times per day at the moment but putting off answering until I am ready (also don't want to mess up my current cashback deal with 18m bill not due for another month or so!).

Last time was £540 cashback on 18 month contract (£35 per month/£630 overall inc 600 mins/1000texts/unlimited data).

    Many thanks

To answer my own question, there are no more cashback retention deals available! Apparently o2 CPW contracts were transferred to o2 on Tuesday this week and o2 don't do cashback. You would have thought they would have notified customers that we were getting transferred?

That said, very easy to get your PAC as CS gave the DRN over the phone and you then fill in a form on CPW website. It wouldn't be so bad, but having had up to 8 missed calls a day from CPW (all arrived when it wasn't convenient to talk), which I have kept returning only to go to a recorded message that it was "CPW on a non-urgent matter" and then "no agents are available at the moment please call back later" I am slightly annoyed and will never know if a deal was there for the taking! That said, I look like I am off to Orange, as unlimited (admittedly with fair use!) internet has gone, as has 4 texts for MMS, and 4 texts for one overseas, not a good year!

how do you know this, ive not heard anything about o2 cpw being transfered to o2 direct.

I was put on a special sim only deal a month ago by cpw so hope o2 leave me on it. Get more mins that o2direct sim only and i get mms for 4 texts like the old deals.

She told me when I phoned to ask for my PAC/discuss upgrade. According to Littlemiss27 on another thread where I mentioned this change, this only applies to people upgrading from Tuesday 3rd onwards with no plans to move anyone else at the moment. If you have a contract from a recently agreed deal then that shouldn't be affected as you have a contract (though if they haven't confirmed the SIM only cashback deal in writing, email them using their online form at CPW and they will confirm which months, I have done this for previous deals as they never seem to put anything in writing unless you ask!).
