I'm due for an upgrade already and contract ends next month but no call from anyone yet. I think I'll like a htc, bb or iphone. I'm on o2 cpwh but o2 signal is poor at my flat now so will go for another network.0

I'm coming to the end of an 18 mth contract on £5/mth (600 mins) this month. Before I call them to see what they say, has anyone had any recent experience as to what their current attitude is. Is CPW/O2 still active or are they actually shifting people to O2 directly?
I've seen a few 18 month/£0.99 per mth contracts (after cashback) on e2save which will be my fall-back but I just wanted to see if anyone's been in contact with CPW/O2 retentions recently.
Thx0 -
I'll be surprised if you stay, they don't seem to be able to offer anything worth stopping for.Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0

I was offered something better but declined. I see no relation with any particular network anymore - and having promised the deal offered would be confirmed in writing it wasn't a great surprise when it wasn't.0

Just an update for anyone in a similar situation, coming up to the end of a CPW/O2 contract. I spoke to CPW customer services (NOT reteentions) and was told they don't do those kind of cashback deals anymore. I can't request my PAC code for another couple of weeks so he didn't go into too much detail but he said the best that retentions would probably be able to offer would be around £15/mth for 300 mins. He didn't say anything about pushing existing customers directly to O2.
Looks like I'll be going to one of the 18 mth £0.99 offers with e2save or mobiles.co.uk0 -
I have recently renewed my cpw/o2 contract, I was on an effective £5 per month for the last 18 months.
The best deal I could get was as follows:
£15.32 per month
75min
250txt
unlimited internet
24 month - 6-12-18 cashback of £250 total
effective cost: £4.90/month
Hope that helps some of you.

You must be mad! You could have got a much better bundle and a phone for £1 a month or less on an 18 month contract on a normal cashback deal. Unless you got a super-duper phone and ove O2 of course!!0

An example of a £1 cashback deal with unlimited internet on O2 or Vodafone would be good as I am in my cooling off period, no phone required.
Best I have seen is 500MB
