look at my post 909 couple of pages earlier ... very good website that shows best deals around0 -
I called and was offered £476 cashback
£8.55 x 18 months for 600mins+Bolt on and Texts
I knocked it back and requested my pac code. They said I need to write to them for it.
Is this always the case?
I am now preparing to go with 800mins+Bolt and Texts on o2 Simplicity with £100 Quidco cashback and 1 month free
= £10 x 12 months and no cashback claims (hopefully:D)
I know
It's a saga0 -

Im outstanding £600 cashback for my contract just expired with O2 CPW.
I know that I need to send in month 6/12/18.
Can anyone please explain the correct process for sending them in, just so that I make sure I receive the £600. Many thanks.
On another note:
I renewed my contract and they gave me on 18 month contract, 600 mins, 1 free bolt on (free internet), 1000 texts. £35 per month, with £540 cashback split into 3 sums. Equal to £5 per month after cashback. Happy with that, just hoping my previous outstanding cashback comes through !
If you know that you needed to send in bill 6/12/18, and that contract has now ended, why on earth haven't you sent them at month 6/12/18 (or within 60 days of the bill which is the requirement for any deal - CPW outline this on their website)? That said, somewhere on this thread I think a number of people reported retention offers where they could send in the bills together, therefore you could be in luck (though personally, I always get them to email me the details in writing so that I and they are not in any doubt what is required when).

Called back, asked for my PAC code and got through to disconnections.
With no prompting or haggling of any sort, the guy immediately offered me the exact same contract I'm currently on with £540 cashback over the 18 months.
So...
600+200 mins
1000 texts
£35 per month
£540 cashback
£5 per month net cost
I took it. That one was for my wife. Hope they offer the same to me when my contract's up in April! :T
They did without any hesitation
£5 a month it is
Call recorded as per usual
Thanks to everyone, especially yourself and Penny0 -
im preety sure wen i did a cpw cashback thing i only had a 30day window to claim each bill. not sure if this is still the case.
I know in the past i just put the months in my phone on the calendar, so i would remember to do it.
I've listened back to make sure what was said in my renewal phone call
They said that there's no deadline, no time-scale and you can send all the bills in at the end at the same time
I'm not sure if this is applicable for all contracts past and present
Seems best to request an email with your own contract's specifics
Then referring to that email in your cover letter to send with your bills0 -
If you have a RETENTION deal then there are no time limits for cashback claims with CPW O2 (and this has been the case for the last two retention deals I have had). HOWEVER, if you have a new deal (eg with e2save) then there ARE time limits for claiming, but at present once that contract finishes and if you stay with CPW O2, then it is those retention deals which are not subject to time limits (but always check because they could change their policy at any time).
One thing to be wary of when renewing a deal is that CPW O2 will allow you to 'upgrade' about two months early. BUT if you are going from say a £35pm deal to a £30pm deal do NOT do it early since this downgrade will INVALIDATE existing cashback deal.
Hope this clarifies CPW O2 cashbacks (and is based on my experience).0 -
Hi all, my contract ends on the 29th of March and I'm currently on an 18mth £35, 600mins + free weekends. That's £5 a month. I'm looking for more minutes at least 900 if I get free weekends or 1200mins if not. I'm prepared to go sim only but will strongly consider a refurbished iphone or BB.I'll appreicate if anyone with knowledge on the current deals at CarPhoneWare House will tell me what I could get and perhaps what I should haggle for. Some one at retentions today offered me 18mths at £45 with £540 cb, 1200mins, 1000txt and unltd weekends. Comes to £15 a month. So I'll be paying an extra £10 for 600 more mins. Not good....Thank you.0
