I was on a 12 months cash back deal that has run out, moved over to a sim only last month as I wasn't getting anywhere. Phoned today to get a PAC and got offered:
600 anytime mins
1000 txts
plus one free bolt on (free internet/landline calls/200 anytime mins etc)
for £35 pm on 18 month contract.
With cashback of £540 in total after months 6, 12 and 18 this is £5 pm over the length of the contact. No phone included.
Is this a good deal In terms of what people have been offered? I know the usual price of the sim only deal for the above with O2 is £20 pm but obviously there is no cashback.
When I initially called a month ago I was told I could have the same cashback deal I was currently on (12 month contract) but now told these are not available.0 -
I signed up with 02 through onestopphoneshop (e2save/carphonewarehouse) a couple of years ago. I have no interest in remaining in this contract and would like to cancel. Can anyone provide me with the address for this.
In the past I was told I had to write to a certain company as they oversee my contract, can't remember which way around it was though.
I recently called and was told that they are not allowed to give out the address until the 30 day notice period, which isn't true, but I can never be bothered with these liars on the phone.
Thanks in advance for any help0 -
^Are you still in a contract? Or have you passed the 12/18 month contract? If so, Phone up again and ask for a address for cancellations. They have to provided it.
Im with E2save/Carphone Warehouse, And i tried getting a Adress for cancellation/notice. They said the same thing to me a fewtimes. I was still in the 18m contract. Had about 50 days left to finish. I rang back when there was 2 days left before the billing dat. And i was given the address the.0 -
Don't wait until then. 60 days before it ends write to the Southampton address given several times on the relevant thread. They won't give it to you until the last minute and will give you an absolute pile of lies about needing a disconnection code which they can't give you until the last minute. You DON'T need any code. Don't waste your time and phone calls.0

6 months ago they were offering £600 cashback on this deal which is now dropped to £540. Shame...0 -
Sorry, took my son to a birthday party. So do I definitely cancel by writing to the Carphoneware House address, as when I search, some people seem to think its o2. Still searching for the Carphone warhouse address.
EDIT: Found this address on page 27 from 2008:
CPW
1006 Disconnections
PO Box 345
Unit 19
Southampton
SO30 2NR0 -
Ignore "some people". If the bill is cpw O2 then cancel with cpw at that address. Otherwise you need to call O2 themselves and ignore cpw. New (as opposed to "upgrade") contracts via cpw on O2 went to O2 direct from September 2007.0

I have just finished a nice conversation on the phone with CPW O2 disconnections rep.
I got myself rather commonly mentioned on here deal that I am quite happy with:
600 mins
1000 texts
Unlimited Web Browsing
18 month contract for £35 pm with cashback of £540 in total after months 6, 12, 18.
No mobile phone included.0 -

So if only upgrades are via CPW O2 and NEw contracts are direct with O2. Does that mean eventually CPW O2 is going to close down? And everyone will be with O2 direct only?0 -
well it looks like that as they wont be getting any new customer, so how long they keep going depends on there retention rate.
my contracts up soon, but i need a new phone as mines worn out now after 24 months, anyone been offered a good retention deal with a sony ericsson phone??0
