If you PM me, I'll send you the details.

I didn't go through customer services. I already knew the person from this forum and a few of us here only upgrade our phones from him as this person usually does the best deals (he is a senior member from CPW Retentions).

gtz101 - could you please send me the contact details of your guy at CPW - many thanks

gtz101 - Would you mind PM'ing me the details too please ?

    Thanks
  • Has anyone tried getting some kind of upgrade deal on the i-phone? Certainly going to give it a go
They offered me an extension of my contract with £180 cashback, but I'm not happy with that. Will wait for their next call to see what else they can offer.
Just to jump on the bandwagon...

It was with CPW, yes :)

What did they try offering you?

If you want I can send you the details of the person I spoke to from CPW who did the deal. I have only ever upgraded from this person in the past 3 years from CPW. :) A few of us here know him and he usually does the best deals when it comes to upgrades.

    Hi gtz101,

could you pm me the details of the retentions person you mention too please? Thank you

just spoke to retentions and have been offered the following on an 18mth contract:

    Nokia 5800
    400 mins
    1000 texts
+ free internet or extra 200 mins or free landline calls or free weekend calls

    for £30/mth

    with £200 cashback by redemption

does this sound like a good deal??

    Hi,

I recently called Disconnections to cancel the contract.

I was offered same as last year's deal - 12 months free, with complete cashback and cashback can be claimed anytime (No need to adhere to strict time rules for sending cashback paperwork and cashback guarantee).

I asked for internet add-on and was offered 18 months offer, with effective £5/month offer.. I did not want 18 months offer, so went for 12 months complete cashback with no handset.

Push for more.... I got 18 month deal back in March.

    400 mins, 1000 text + Web Bolt On @ £30 p/m

£300 Cashback thus making it £13.33 (ish) per month.

I could have got 600 mins for an extra £5 a month but don't need them

    Good luck
