CPW O2 Retentions Thread

Just a quickie I hope someone will be able to help me with!
Me and my partner are both due for an upgrade, we are currently with O2 through the car phone warehouse
My question is - do the cpw have the same offers avilible as O2 direct? I've just been reading the O2 retentions thread and seems like there are some good deals to be had, but are we likely to get any through cpw??
If not, any suggestions how we should play it?0 -
cpw will try to keep you although it is O2 who you are actually with - they will make offers too. Cpw are likely to be best for deals, BUT only if you ignore most of the utter rubbish they spout and play them as they will try to play you.
Personally, I have never "upgraded", preferring to get even better deals with a new contract. I would alos avoid cpw and go with Phones4u/Mobiles2yourdoor, since they offer better deals anyway and actually don't try to cheat you out of cashbacks. Whatever cpw were like 2 years ago they definitalty aren't any more!0 -
What do people think - is mine a good deal or is there better to be had - 540 cashback on 630 contract, 18 months inc web unlimited, itemised billing and ITS, 600 mins/1000 texts, claim 6/12/18 (though yus786 deal works out cheaper!)?Many thanksAnon
Did they offer a free phone with this deal as well?0 -
£2.77 a month? What on a 600Xnet mins/1000TXT a month deal????
Also do CPW O2 still do free unlimited web bolt on? Whats the criteria to get free unlimited web bolt on? Do you need to be on a certain tariff or something?0 -

No mine is

I'm currently on the old £35 tariff - 12-month contract with 9 month's cashback. This includes 400 mins and 500 texts.
I don't need to increase my allowances and I know O2 have reduced the prices for the same amount of mins/texts to £30 (18 mth) and £25 (24 mth).
Has anyone any idea what sort of a deal I can expect without upgrading my phone OR the liklihood of getting a SE C905 as part of an upgrade deal?"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0 -

I am on the £35+cashback deal ending this month and have just managed to persuade them to give me the same deal for £5/month over 24 months. It's actually a £20 a month tariff which they discount by £15 so no cashback involved. Had to stamp my feet a bit to get it but I insisted after reading about it in this thread. Eventually after denying it was available "a supervisor authorised it for today only". So worth persisting - good luck!0 -

No phone, sim only deal. Also do CPW O2 still do free unlimited web bolt on? Whats the criteria to get free unlimited web bolt on? Do you need to be on a certain tariff or something?
Yes - I understand that it needs to be on a minimum £35 per month/18 month contract to get free internet (same as indicated on o2 website), hence I went for 18 month contract, £35 per month, rather than 12 month free on 12 month contract which didn't include internet (on the basis that I was planning on having internet connection which has cost me £7.50 per month for the past year and for this equivalent price I get an additional 6 months line rental and six months of internet free - basically paying £90 for 18 months contract including 600 mins/1000 texts, 18 months of internet).
