I've come to the end of my 18 month contract, had a really bad experience about a year ago with some phone issues. Told them wholeheartedly that I wanted to cancel.

I was on 600mins/600 texts @ £35pm, with cashbacks taking it to £23pm
They have offered me 600mins/1000 texts @ £4.85pm no cashbacks.

It's a great offer but I'm still not taking it. They screwed with me so much, countless hours and energy wasted.

Rung to cancel and got offered

400 Text
Unlimited Internet.

£25 per month, 18 Month contract = £450
Comes with a £400 cashback (6, 12, 18th bill).

So makes it £2.77 per month.

Like it so didn't haggle and just took it. I'm happy

Within the past few days - offered the £11.67 (11 months free on 18 month contract) by sales earlier in the week. By phoning through the customer services/closing account option it seems to go through to customer loyalty who have different offers available. Phone 0870 111 7200 - cannot remember the options but it is obvious when you hear it (thinking of cancelling or something like that).

What do people think - is mine a good deal or is there better to be had - 540 cashback on 630 contract, 18 months inc web unlimited, itemised billing and ITS, 600 mins/1000 texts, claim 6/12/18 (though yus786 deal works out cheaper!)?

Ask em for the £25 deal (200 min / 400 txt), same as mine and see what they say.

Can anyone suggest a cheap but decent phone that can be used to browse the net...

Doesn't have to be new but needs to be unlocked or PAYG on O2

These are the 3 deals they offered me.

1.
18 month contract
£35 a month
600 mins 100 text
free web
£540 cashback work out to £5 a month

2.
24 month contract
400 mins 100 text
free web
no cashback to claim straight £10 a month

3. (same deal I got last year)
12 month contract
£35 a month
400 mins 100 text
£420 cashback costing nothing over the the 12 months.


What do people reckon to these deals which one should I go for am thinking deal 3 is the best.

Hi mate - Do you mean 1000 texts as 100 seems very little. I am on the option 3 from last year.

Wondering if anyone has got any deals with one of the newer handsets (N96, 5800, Tocco, Pixon, C905 etc etc) as I have a K850i and thinking of swapping it.

These contracts we've been offered... are they 3G?

Looking at getting a phone and need to know whether i should get a 3G one for the 'unlimited' internet i've been offered for free.

Mine was redemption but i'm ok with that. This is my 4th year and i tend to keep on top of things...
