If you do away with the house phone you would lose your internet connection?

Not if ive got cable......or/and a mobile dongle...........
  • im a happy bunny today!
    just renewed with 800 minutes,1000 texts a month.....18 month contract....17.1 months free via cashback equalling 1.66 a month :-)

i could have also had a straight renewal of my 400 mins,500 text with 11 months free on 12 month contract....but i prefer the 18 month one and have no issues with being on an 18 month contract.

i've had similar deals with cpw for 4 years now on 2 phones(1 mine,1 hubbies) and have never had any kind of problem and fantastic customer service.

Out of interest, after taking up a retention offer, do the bill numbers start back at 1, or do they continue - ie, 14... ?

    Thanks

The number I use for O2 Carphonewarehouse is 08701117200.

This number is free when calling from a O2 phone.

Is anyone certain that this number is free when called from all CPW O2 phones? I looked in call charges on CPW website and it suggests that this number on O2 will cost 20p per minute, and given that some of these calls take ages, that would end up costing quite a lot...

EDIT: Scratch that. Just found confirmation in thier 'contact us' section that the number is free. Surprised they don't mention it in the call charges section where it also obviously applies!

I just got 200 mins + 200 texts, 12 month contact, £30/month, with 11 months free (equal to £2.50/month) with cashback sent every 4 months. This was offered by the cancellation department on 08701117200. Not the best offer here but I didn't want a long and very expensive contract that I could potentially have to pay if my cashback claim didnt work one month.

The first offer I was given was something like 400 mins/500 texts 18 month contact for £8.88/month after cashback (they offered me that when I accidently called the upgrades department thinking it was the cancellations one). I probably won't use this amount so I declined the offer, and its not as good as the one offered by the cancellations dept.

I am offered a free 300 credit to my account applied in 28days time. Every month 25GBP is charged and I get 75 Xnet work mins and 125 text messages. Thanks a ton for all who shared their offer info here.
  • CPW are getting tougher.
My £40pm contract fully funded with £480 cash backs coming to a September end.
Upgrades offered to extend this for £11 pm and no new phone
Disconnection offered 275 call and 250 text for £5 for 24 month or
600 calls and unlimited text for £35 for 18 month with £600 cash backs.
Both disconnection offers have no new phone.
If I give written notice against my disconnection number will there be any chance of further negotiations.
