  • I have been with 02 via cpw for 2 years now and always had virtually free offers with low minutes rang them near end of march and accepted :

600 minutes, 1000 txt plus unlimited landline bolt on for £10 a month on 24 Month Contract. NO HANDSET was offered handset but would be £15 monthly for low value handset.

Rang back within 14 day period and cancelled then accepted:

400 minutes, 1000 txt plus unlimited landline bolt on for £5 a month on 24 Month Contract. NO HANDSET

I quoted overnetworld's offer to CPW saying match it or I leave (see thread # 266). CPW then confirmed that I would be disconnected. I found this a much easier way of finishing the annual contract with CPW rather than obtain DRN, write to disconnections etc.

just rang CPW to request PAC code. Was going to go with O2 simplicity £15 a month. Got offered same deal as O2 which is 200mins, 400texts and unlimited o2-o2 texts and calls (sim only) for £10. Still said no, then got offered 400mins and 500texts, still said I wasnt too sure finally offered 400mins, 1000texts and unlimited o2-o2 for £10 a month, sim only for 18months. Thought this to be quite a good deal so accepted. They did say that the new contract will be in the post in the next couple of days.
  • I have 2 phones on £35/month each due to expire in June. Just wanted a cheaper deal so I suggested to them £10/month 400mins x-network, 400mins texts and the said they could do that on a 24m contract.

Got them down to an 18m contract (I tried for a 12m contract to see what would happen but they best I got was a £15/month deal)!

Took the 18m contract saving myself £50 a month so very happy :)

i got offered 200 mins 400 txts on 12 month contract for 10 months free, paid up front.

or the same deal by redemption (send 4, 8, 12th month bill) and completely free. they also said there is no time limit on sending your bills...

They do get a bit persistent towards the end of a contract don't they? I've got two contracts with them, and so far the best they can offer is £15 a month for 75 minutes and 125 texts and no new handset on a 12 month contract. Am not impressed and told them I would be leaving for either o2 online simplicity or pay as you go.
The girl I spoke to said that they couldn't match that, but past experience tells me that if I sit tight, they will ring me back with a better offer as my contract draws to a close. Last time, when I requested my PAC, I got 12 months free (auto credit to the account) for 100 minutes and texts.
I just wish they would save my time (and theirs) and give a sensible offer straight away instead of all the mucking about and games that need to be played!

Just got offered 12 month free via redemption on O2 35 without a new phone. Very happy.

Also got it confirmed in writing. I have read people are having troble with this. Just e-mail them from the CWH page in contact us form redemptions option. They will try to call you first but don't answer it. They will then e-mail you confirming the full deal.

I asked them to confirm the full deal and also what months bills i send and they have done this. Won't have any problems claiming hopfully.

    They are !!!!!!s aren't they? :D

Still no documentation as was promised, and my account is showing up as 250 minutes, not the 400 I agreed, but the 1,000 texts are right.

Thanks 5562, I've sent them a message to clarify...

Out of interest, anyone here tried upgrading to the Nokia E90, if so, did they offer cashback?
