Been offered a few deals on Friday by CPW but not really sure what to go for so any advice please.
All 400 mins/500 text tariff @ £35 p/m
1. Keep K800i - 12 months FREE - Cashback via Claim = £0 for year
2. Keep K800i - £350 credit automatically applied. Month 11 @ £25, Month 12 @ £35 = £60 for year
3. New K810i - 9 months FREE - Cashback via Claim = £105 for year
4. New K850i/Nokia 6500 Slide - £300 Cashback via Claim. = £120 for year
5. New N95 8GB - No cashback
I also asked about FREE Bolt On's (ie web) and was told they are only on 18 month contracts.
My dilemma
I like my K800i and it works fine still and has another 12 months warranty on it. I don't think it would be worth doing the K810i as it doesn't offer much more.
Now unsure whether or not to get the K850i/6500 Slide deal (effectively £10 a month like my current offer) - are these substantially different from my k800i? - I noticed the k850i wasn't much slimmer when I thought it was.
Cheers

They all seem fine deals to me. I'd personally had gone for the number 4 option. The Nokia 6500 Slide is a very good phone. The 3.2 MPix Camera with Carl Zeiss lens is top camera.0 -
Just got offered 300 mins and 300 texts on a Virgin Mobile £20 a month for three month contract with it all back at three and six months; didn't seem that appealing.Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0

For something similar, go through Quidco to CPW, Virgin Sim only deal, 6 month contract, 1 claim for cashback covering 100% of deal (plus Quidco). Though not sure relevant on this thread as this is o2 CPW and the contract relates to Virgin ...

0870 111 7200 does and gets you to the main start menu for cpw O2, from where you can end up at disconnections/upgrades/loyalty if you choose or ask.0

It's really just further proof that the sales team on 0800 049 0490 is not able to offer any real deals, so the text they sent me was nice but non-productive. I'll wait till next month and ring to disconnect...
I am on O2, but he could only offer me 18 months half price, then when I mentioned going to e2save for 99p per month for twelve months, out came the Virgin Mobile 'offer'.Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -
0870 numbers don't come out of any o2 (CPW or not) inclusive minutes - I had a long moan at them about it when they confirmed this - apparently they may have text me about it happening last year (they didn't or I would have cancelled immediately)! The only free 0870 number is one or two CS numbers, which I don't know if the one they said I needed to ring is.
I posted a list of numbers that are free in post 237 of this thread: http://www.o2.co.uk/mobilestariffs/tariffs/freenumbers
mobilejunkie, how are you getting on with putting names to the numbers?Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -
Too busy answering lots of posts on several cpw company threads when I'm not doing other things! Anyway - wasn't my idea and I'm not volunteering!0
