Hey guys - I'm on a O2 Cashback 11months free /12month contract and its coming to an end in April...i've been with O2 for 2 years and have had the same number as well..
I want to keep the same number so i don't really want to cancel...
Just wondering what to do, shall i call up and tell them i want to cancel my contract and listen to the deals they have to offer me?

If i don't like any of their offers, can i port my number from their network and put it onto a payG sim? how do i go about doing that?

    Thanks

Sorry to go a little off thread, but I'm fed up of these people & want away! I asked for my PAC & they said I have to ring an 0870 no. for a DRN before writing to them as in my T&C (not going to go there - they seem to think they can change those without directly notifying me, so digging out my copy from 2+ years ago would be pointless). Can anyone advise if this DRN is legal/within OFCOM regulations? Will they reject written notice without it? Any geographic no. for CPW to get this DRN?

Thanks will be given to anyone who helps!

If you're on cpw O2 call them on the 0870 number - it comes out of your bundle. Read the thread; this is a common problem with them and does their reputation no good at ALL!

Please check that about the bundle, I read somewhere about them starting to charge for calls to 0800 numbers, let alone 0870's?

Or was that just newer contracts?

No need for me to check - just as there wasn't when people thought 0800 numbers weren't included months before they actually disappeared. I was very specific in what I said. No network now includes 0800 numbers (except possible O2 business contracts but THAT I would have to check!), but that is totally unconnected with this.

I asked the question as I didn't want the OP to face an unexpected hefty bill.

I'm glad you changed your original response in your last post, as I was just looking up that the CPW number is specificially included in the list of free calls (as in not used as package minutes), there are some 0800 numbers included.

I didn't. Interesting list; not sure how anyone is supposed to remember or easily look up the numbers, but there seem to be many specific 08 numbers which are free. Pity they haven't also said what the numbers are for.

    Hey guys

Been offered a few deals on Friday by CPW but not really sure what to go for so any advice please.

    All 400 mins/500 text tariff @ £35 p/m

    1. Keep K800i - 12 months FREE - Cashback via Claim = £0
    for year :)
    2. Keep K800i - £350 credit automatically applied. Month 11 @ £25, Month 12 @ £35 = £60 for year
    3. New K810i - 9 months FREE - Cashback via Claim = £105 for year
    4. New K850i/Nokia 6500 Slide - £300 Cashback via Claim. = £120 for year
    5. New N95 8GB - No cashback :(

I also asked about FREE Bolt On's (ie web) and was told they are only on 18 month contracts.

    My dilemma
I like my K800i and it works fine still and has another 12 months warranty on it. I don't think it would be worth doing the K810i as it doesn't offer much more.

Now unsure whether or not to get the K850i/6500 Slide deal (effectively £10 a month like my current offer) - are these substantially different from my k800i? - I noticed the k850i wasn't much slimmer when I thought it was.

    Cheers

    Here's a cunning plan.

You could ring each one and find out who they are.

Then list them here for the (lazier) rest of us.

Was just offered 75 free minutes and 125 txt on a £25/month 12 month SIM only contact but with a £300 credit applied to my account at the start i.e. covers all the 12 monthly charges.
