Yes, I got the invoice that stated the new contract - what I have not received is anything outlining the new cashback deal (ie unless I have missed it, nowhere does the invoice say 11 months free on 12 months).

Same here. Exactly same as your Anon.
I have actually rung them 4 times now. Some have said i won't get one, whilst other have said it's in the post.
However each time i ring - i asked them to read my file and they ALL read the 11 months free offer.0 -
I've got the same deal 11m free on 12m contract. Though I didn't receive anything in the post, not even an invoice. I called them up and they say it's on the system. I asked for the invoice and he said they don't send them out.
As I haven't reveived any info, can someone tell me how I claim back the cashback at months 4,8,12. The guy on the phone said just send a copy of your bill to the southamption addresss.0 -
When I got the deal, they said they send out a voucher with the 4,6,12 bills to claim (not sure how this works as it is clear I am online billing!). CPW have always been good with cashback therefore not particularly worried - but would be reassuring to get it in writing given the complete deal was over the phone with nothing in writing (whereas normally I would print off all the screen shots etc).
Is this the normal process for CPW Retentions?

I have had the same situation with a similar offer. I called them back last Friday, concerned I had not had the promised paperwork through the post. I was told a letter was sent out a few days before that. As its now 10 days since that letter was sent I am worried about getting stung for the rental now.
Nothing was mentioned to me about the vouchers we normally send in to claim cashback. How do we stand re cancelling this now? I would rather have the dela in writing with all the paperwork I need to claim. I have a horrible feeling that 4 months down the line they will tell me get lost!0 -
Hi all,
Been offered a n95 ( clearance phone ) 30 pounds a month, 600 mins & 1000 txts on a 18 month contact with 200 pounds cashback, what you think ?
thanks0 -
I rang up to cancel my contract (12 months is up tomorrow) today and they have given me 275 minutes and 250 texts for £5 a month for 18 months (so the £25 tariff) , I wasn't bothered about upgrading to another phone and I didn't want another cash back deal."There is a light that never goes out"0

If you sign up for online billing you can check if your tariff is correct, get fairly up-to-date info on your usage and view the chequeback procedure.

It appears they don't require any voucher to accompany your bills, just the first 2 pages of the relevant bills. Photocopies and printouts of online bill acceptable."Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0 -

CPW would ideally prefer not to send it in writing but you have to constantly nag them if you want it in writing. Last year when I upgraded my phone, I was promised several times it will be sent by post. It never did. What you have to do is contact Charles Dunstone's office and someone will write it out for you. Insist on it. They will do it. I have done it and so have many others. I got it in 3 working days from when I spoke to someone from Charles Dunstones Office.0 -
