didn't read the whole thread before I posted but that home made reciept is priceless - and £10 for some condoms? not very MSE you can get them for free at your GP!0

If you opt for the detailed receipt, it is printed and handed to you prior to paying.

they give you a reciept before you pay?! you mean they scan in all the items then print the reciept before they ask for any money? that's hilarious that you think anyone would believe that!
incidentally - does anyone else think another thread about subway charging for salad will pop up any time soon?0 -

Odd that I have never seen a receipt without edges!
Epic fail!0 -
I also expect that tesco is owned by the waitrose group of companies - but you would need to confirm that with mopinappan!!0

Isn't Photoshop wonderful?
You must think we were born yesterday. (You haven't even managed to create a fake with consistent formatting.)
Do you blame them?
If I had to buy a pack of 12 extra small condoms, I think I would be tempted to photoshop the receipt as well.
I think that the Tesco till system must be a bit faulty as it also seems to have forgotten to put any time & date information on the "receipt"0 -
In which case I'm sure that you could scan and stick in on here.
You should be able to scan it far quicker than knocking one up on photoshop or paint.0 -
Right, I have been up to my Co-op again and spoken to the Manager. He says there are 3 questions which must be asked of all customers.
Do you have a membership?
Do you want a bag?
Do you want a receipt? (only if paying cash)
I asked, why do you ask about receipt? His reply - 'Don't know, just told that this is what we do!' I asked if it was some sort of 'green policy'. His answer 'Maybe, but we haven't been told'.
The guy is just doing his job, id rather staff do they job properly and ask if i want a bag, a receipt or do i have a nectar. Some staff may have been told the reason why but the other staff may have missed being told what the reason was for being asked about a receipt.0 -

And maybe he could line up the columns a bit better on the next one too!0 -

...and a lamp in order to warm it up to use them.0
