Did he know your feelings about private dances before he went? Seems a little unfair to punish him for breaking a rule he didnt know existed

Male strippers in general I think are worse than female, only cos my husbands summarisation of his lap dance in his stag do was 'I had to read a set of rules first then she was naked and danced kinda near me' whereas my friend in her hen do, the male stripper put his willy in her mouth! With no warning either I might add.

Not that I'm saying you did anything at the hen do, just that what the bride did with the guy would have gone a lot lot further than something at a strip club, which is heavily regulated so what actually happened might not be as bad as you think

It's a bit hypocritical to be upset with him when you all had a stripper at the hen do. However, the tit for tat (no pun intended) is childish.

I'm pretty sure that he would have an inkling that I wouldn't be happy with him having a naked woman dancing around in front of him in a private booth, yes.

And no, the stripper definitely did NOT put his penis anywhere near the bride-to-be's mouth. She didn't touch it either - yuck! He did a bit of bum shaking and bizarrely blew up a balloon and then popped it against her! There was nothing seductive about it, believe me!

God it all sounds so cringing, i think if i ever got married i would not want a stripper!!!!! It really wouldn't be my cup of tea.

Thanks for all the responses - both viewpoints. However, I'm just having a hard time getting past the fact that he had a private dance. I specifically told him that the stripper at the hen do paid full attention to the bride-to-be and the other hens just watched, so if it's "tit for tat" then not only is that pathetic but he went way too far. I'm afraid, when I'm in a relationship with someone, I believe that I should be the only naked woman that close to him and sadly I feel really let down and quite disgusted. I feel like he had no respect for me or my feelings. Sad situation really.

My H always gave me the impression he wasn't interested in gentlemans clubs. So when he suggested going to a club on his stag do AND paid £25 for a private dance I wasn't overly impressed I think however what I felt most annoyed about was the fact that I'd stupidly put him up on a pedestal when I shouldn't have.

I confess when it comes to stag dos and lap dancing clubs I am with Dr Phil who I heard question the reason behind celebrating an impending marriage by going to see another naked woman dance.

I'm male and have absolutely zero interest in strippers or strip clubs. Really don't see the point to them.

The only times I've been near them has been on a couple of stag do's and they are dreadful places. The stag do's I was at the stripper was nothing more than a vehicle to take the !!!! out of the bridegroom. Nothing sexy happened. They take the utter !!!! out the poor sod and then when his mates get passed laughing at him they move on and out of the club.
