Vida Defined access ISA rate cuts.

As a result, and following a review of our current rates and the wider market, we are reducing the rate on your Defined Access ISA account by the same amount to 4.38% Gross/AER (Annual interest), 4.29%/4.38% Gross/ AER (Monthly interest).

At Vida Savings we always aim to offer transparent and competitive rates of interest, however, as rates across the market continue to fall, we do need to adjust our interest rates too.

Your new rate will be effective from 10th July 2025.

Easy Access going down to 4.22/4.3% too

Quick question about transferring my cash ISA in full from Trading 212 to Tembo.

Tembo are asking for the balance even though I'm requesting a full transfer.

But do I input the T212 "Total value", which includes pending interest, or just my current cash balance?

I'm worried that if I put the wrong amount, the T212 account will still stay open or that I might lose T212 interest that was pending.

I just put current balance when transferred out 3 months ago and pending interest went over with transfer

Same, a while ago. Just to add, although Trading212 did clearly do the "full transfer" by adding on the pending interest, they didn't automatically close the account (which I thought was the norm with full transfers out.) I had to do that myself afterwards. (I just requested to delete the whole profile .)

Tembo now offer a 12-month fixed rate ISA at 4.27%. On their website it still says "coming soon" and doesn't quote the interest rate, but it is showing up on their app. It currently says "new deposits only - transfers from existing ISAs are not supported". However in the FAQs it says "if you already have an ISA, you can also transfer this to Tembo".

The section above "Variable Rate Cash ISAs with withdrawal restrictions & accepting transfers in:" appears to be well out of data. For example, the links given for Vida, Harpenden and Paragon go to "page not found", so are either NLA or different issues at a lower rate. Principality is now 4.25% and Furness is now 4.15%.

Yes the pinned page was last edited on the 17th June. So many of the links are probably now out of date. With this in mind please take the rates shown on the post with a pinch of salt and check they are still available.

My Virgin ISA matured today.  I'm thinking about transferring it to Moneybox at 4.65%. Any known issues regarding transfer please? Or anything to avoid?
    Thanks
