I think when one transfers also plays a part, away from April May us usually better0

It's gone. Lasted a week! The rate including boost is now 4.33% AER (variable tracker). I've also noticed that they've reduced the rate (excluding boost) from 4.06% AER (variable tracker) to 3.30% AER (variable tracker) and are now advertising the boost as 1.03% AER.JGal said:I can't see how to get the 5% Chip rate; has it expired?

"Following further investigation, we confirmed that although a ‘ready for payment’ message was sent to Virgin Money on 25th April, due to a system error with our electronic transfer system this did not send until 21st May."pookey said:
Did they give a reason of what went wrong?Rheumatoid said:
My Virgin to moneybox was a disaster. Took about a month with lots of chasing and putting in a complaint. They wouldn't backdate the interest but in the end gave me a payment for lost interest and some compensation.pookey said:My Virgin ISA matured today. I'm thinking about transferring it to Moneybox at 4.65%. Any known issues regarding transfer please? Or anything to avoid?
Thanks
I did the transfer this morning. I've had an email from Moneybox to say they sent the request to Virgin so I'm hoping it goes through OK16 Panel (250W JASolar) 4kWp, facing 170 degrees, 40 degree slope, Solis Inverter. Installed 29/9/2015 - £4700 (Norfolk Solar Together Scheme); 9.6kWh US2000C Pylontech batteries + Solis Inverter installed 12/4/2022 Year target (PVGIS-CMSAF) = 3880kWh - Installer estimate 3452 kWh:Average over 6 years = 4400 :j1 -
Thanks all for your help with my queries re. transferring from Trading 212 to Tembo.
I started the transfer last Saturday 28th June. As others suggested, I simply indicated the current cash amount, so excluding any pending interest.
It was processed on Monday 30th June once T212 confirmed with me the transfer, including the pending interest.
The transfer was completed today. 4 days from start to finish.
Pretty content with that.3 -
is the chip boosted rate only for new clients? I registered with them a month ago so means I am cut off from this promo?
If that's the case, I have matured my 2 year fixed ISA with Lloyds and would like to transfer for a better rate? Would you recommend T212? Is it trustworthy? never heard of it before and I just would like some reassurance:)0 -
