Tescobank have a new flexible Instant Cash ISA paying 4.11%, including a 12 month bonus of 2.96%:

The previous issue was 4.07%. It may help compensate for the interest rate drop coming on 16 July.

My Trading212 bonus ends on the 7th. Is it best to wait until then to transfer?

My bonus ended 4 days ago, but the rate is still showing the same on the app.

Principality Online Bonus 5 Acces ISA issue 4 @ 4.25% is replaced with issue 5 at 4.4%

A rate increase - fantastic! For anyone who's got the issue 4, Principality will do an internal transfer if you contact them via direct message, they did for me last time there was a new issue.
I was just going to ask this very question:. If you could transfer internally the issues.

Yes, they transferred mine today - I opened the issue 5, then requested the transfer. They responded to my message within a couple of hours. All transferred over, with interest added.

I suggest you DON'T try to transfer the money yourself (on the "account services" menu you can go to "Move money between Principality accounts"), I suspect this would count as a withdrawal and a deposit, rather than an ISA transfer, so would use some of the £20000 limit.

I forgot that I should have opened the new account first. I sent them a secure message yesterday asking them to transfer the money from the existing account to the new one. They responded today requesting that I confirm that I approve the savings and account terms and conditions, which I have done. I have therefore slowed down the process but i'm sure I will get there in the end.
Just to add I have had a very quick response and I now have my new account. One unexpected bonus of doing it this way is that I have retained the previous account number.

Actually that might be a better option - keeping the same account number presumably means you can still see all previous transactions in your online account? As they've closed my issue 4, I can't access it any more, so would have to request for them to send me a statement if I wanted to check any past transactions. Not a major issue for me though, and other than that, thumbs up all round to Principality.

Reading their tariff of charges Effective from 13 June 2025 for services related to your savings before opening this account saw this:-
Same Day Faster Payment For the electronic transfer of funds up to £10,000 to your nominated bank account, usually received within 2 hours £3
Payments above £10,000 or to a third party must be sent by CHAPS. £25

    Something to be aware of

    Well spotted!
Its quite unusual to have a fee for a faster payment.
I wouldn't be intending to make any withdrawals anyhow.
Have applied for the account, but not sent transfer form yet.
Transfer form can be emailed to them
