Moneyfarm Cash ISA 4.84% AER variable (including 1year bonus)

    https://www.moneyfarm.com/uk/cash-isa/
Also a flexible isa. Rate includes a 0.7% bonus for first year. Rate drops after 3 withdrawals in a year but still pretty good.

Can someone help me understand better, please?  As Moneybox split their Cash ISA's between various banks (11 at present) is this also classed as a QMMF, please?  I'm confused by Moneyfarm saying "your cash is securely held with trusted partners, authorised banks or Qualified Money Market Funds", (it's the "or" I'm confused by, ie, is the authorised bank the same as QMMF).  How does Moneyfarm using authorised banks differ from Moneybox?

Moneybox operates a "portfolio" cash ISA where you have FSCS depositor protection originating from the partner banks where your cash is held in deposit. They don't use QMMF.
MoneyFarm do use QMMF (in addition to / instead of partner banks). QMMF is a type of low risk investment, and only has the weaker FSCS protection for investments against fraud and administrator fees, not losses due to investments falling in value.

Another thing in addition to what others have posted.... You have to
    • Keep a deposit of at least £500 for 12 months from the date of the deposit.

So if you use the account for the 2025-26 subscriptions, and may want to transfer out within the year, you'd lose the Moneyfarm bonus because you can't 'leave £500 in' & transfer part of the current year's subscription.
I thought the ISA rule about not allowing a partial transfer of the current year's subscription was scrapped in 2024.

That part was not mandatory, so I assume the poster is flagging it as Moneyfarm don’t support them (I haven’t checked as Moneyfarm aren’t a provider I would ever use.)

Providers do not have to support partial transfers. They are only required to support full transfers.

I've requested a transfer from Monument to Tembo yesterday - the money arrived to Tembo this morning.  Less than 24 hours.  I didn't expect this.
Me too, full transfer in under a day!

My bad! I'll delete it. It was a while ago I looked at & dismissed them because of the partial issue. Current info:
