I think if it is WebSave from West Bromwich you can do it online. I have done that in the past and have recently transferred an ISA out of West Brom's WebSave and that was dpne electronically.2

I opened the 3% easy access Virgin Money ISA last Friday and requested them to transfer in from my Coventry building society isa at the same time. I haven't heard anything since from either bank. How long does it take for Virgin to sort out on isa transfers?0
-
.....errr ...... I couldnt quote you on any RECENT external transfers to Virgin for myself .... but so far I have waited three weeks for them to do an INTERNAL transfer ..... see higher up on this thread. However for balance - @savit4l8er did report on 5th November that his external transfer in was complete in 2 days.....1

I don't recall Virgin ever sending me any correspondence when I did an ISA transfer in, either to confirm it will be requested or that it had been completed. And In my experience Coventry send correspondence out by post. So it does not surprise me you haven't heard anything.2
