benny5 said:The OH was at the local branch of the Coventry this morning and she was told that there are no Fixed ISA products currently available.
Then this afternoon, in the post, I received information on a maturing ISA (End November) where they are offering me.
3.65% 1 Year.
3.9% 2 Years
3.95% 3 Years,
4.05% 5 Years.
In anticipation of this maturing, I opened an A/C with Virgin, 3 years 4.41% with a token deposit.
I'm now torn between staying and moving, the additional interest with Virgin is circa £200PA.
I've concentrated on the 3-year option as ISA interest rates may not increase in the short term and the overall prediction for rates over time appears to be flat followed a possible drop.
My understanding of the situation may be totally rubbish.2 -

Opened and requested transfer last Friday got here today (Thursday).0 -
Virgin Money have also just now sent me a text and email confirming that the ISA transfer is complete.0
