    Virgin fixed rates have dropped
This morning my OH opened a 3-year fixed @ 4.41% with a token deposit pending a transfer from another ISA provider.

I'm assuming that will be honoured.
You will receive a letter confirming the account is open. It reads all funds must be received within 30 days of opening. No mention of "or if the account is oversubscribed and withdrawn" by that time which may be before 30 days.
So you should be fine. 👍
Yeah, cheers but nah, I will stick with yes,  thank you and no.

    Thank you.

  • Dudley 4.2% 18m which wasn't a bad little deal no longer seems to be listed on their site but still on moneyfacts (currently).
I applied for one of these on Monday, will they honor my application??

Not heard a peep from them since sending the application in, they stated three working days from application
They have been in touch, accounts opened and funded. Great customer service, well done Dudley
Pleased you got it. It was a nice one.

    Thank you.
  • Haven't seen this mentioned elsewhere, but - looks like Charter have pulled their 1 yr fixed ISA - can't see it on their website. 2 yr is still there ....

I applied for Charter's 2-year fixed rate ISA as a new customer and they couldn't validate my bank account - it's with one of the biggest banks in the country and I've had it for 28 years. It's my nominated account for at least half a dozen other savings accounts with various banks and I've not had issues before. I've also lived at my current address for 16 years. Not the smoothest of starts, it has to be said.
  • I have applied For Charter Banks two year fixed rate ISA just now.It couldn't have gone any smoother-even able to login.

Is it possible to complete the transfer form online ,with no need to print and post if transferring the ISA from another bank/building society?

Well, I just did. Most banks are signed up to electronic ISA transfers.

Quoting myself because I'm confused .....

If I go to Charter's website  and ask for 'Fixed rate ISAs' I only see the 2 year ......

If I 'log in' as myself on the site and go to open a new product, the 1 year is still there ......

Maybe now only available as exclusive to existing customers?
