The product was android so yes.
A common theme through out our discussion is your presumption that the business models on google and apple are the same.
Apple is a hardware manufacturer. Google is a software manufacturer.
Now if you're talking hardware you're going with the blackberry looking phone am I right?0 -
This should interest then: http://www.osnews.com/story/25264
The last part bursts the myth:
"To answer the question posed in the headline: yes, a prototype Android device looked like a BlackBerry phone. However, at least one other prototype Android device from the same time frame did not (and it wouldn't surprise me if Google was testing Android on several more prototypes with different form factors). On top of that, the SDK from that exact same time frame also included support for large touch screens. In other words, the argument is invalid."
Looks like this video was released in November 2007, 10 months after the iPhone was announced. Is there any evidence of the touch based nature of Android prior to the iPhone being announced?0 -

Not much, I'm not in the market for win phones.
You don't like iPhones, you don't like windows phone.
Do you like any phones apart from Android?
Every post of yours been pro-Android.
When someone complain about the way android work you start to call them names.
And you go on about how others are pro to one company and how you inc DUTR are natural trying to help others.
Both of you 23n1th and DUTR read your posts, in everyone you go on and on about pro android. This is not helping anyone, is it?
Unless you are paid by Google, what's the point?
Are both of you working for Google to increase Android advertising?
If you do but a comment to say that so others know.0 -
Nice try no dice?? What are you talking about???
EDIT: Ok since you insist on changing your post every 5 seconds, is there any evidence that it wasn't there?
Well we've got a video that was created 10 months after the iPhone announcement that shows a very limited and rudimentary touch based interface that's still mostly controlled by buttons off screen. It then took Google another 11 months to turn this into a finished product, so it seems highly probable that at the point that this video was made, the touch based interface was a very new concept that had been created in response to what Apple had shown.
So is there any evidence that shows that Android was a touch based OS prior to the iPhone being announced?0 -

Not sure of the relevance of the point you're trying to make as touchscreen interfaces on mobile phones existed years before either iOS or Android.0 -

My post was deleted but what you accuse others of, is what you do yourself, we are not any fan, we just know the iphone is not for all.
It is you that creates anti android threads.
You have an android device and have not been affected by malware.0 -
Interestingly, the same thought came to my mind many times, but about you and Apple. Unlike you, they at least don't start pro-Android or anti-Apple threads every week or so.
Can't agree with you more. Anything about Android to TGM is bad, anything about Apple is good. Even when others pointed out problems with Apple, he will just ignore those thread and move on to more pro-Apple stuff. :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
