This was supposed to be delivered in the next seven days.
On the seventh day I received another email stating that it would be further delayed by seven days, and I would be supplied with tracking codes within that period.
That day has now come and gone. I have no iPad Air, no tracking codes, and no refund. I have emailed Mighty deals four times now and have received absolutely no response.
Now I don't know how to proceed, other than chase a refund as I paid on my credit card.
Has anyone else got any ideas?
Maybe read MSE's Section 75 Refunds article first.Tissottouch07 wrote: »They gave me the contact email address of a certain Neil Campbell from Money Expert who would apparently sort this out for me.0 -
Yes, thanks for that.
I know Money Expert is different to MSE, I'm posting on here as it seems to be a good starting point to get this issue resolved.
I'll take your advice and have a look at the article ,

Hi,
I bought a tablet through Migthy Deals at the start of December. Redeemed the voucher on 8th December, which stated allow 10 days for delivery from date of redemtion. To my understanding the tablet should have been delivered by 18th December.
I received an email from the merchant on 17th stating it had been dispatched and would be with me in a few days.
Now 24th and it still has not arrived. I have attempted to contact the merchant, but the voucher does not hold any contact information, I have contacted mighty deals customer service and they have not even acknowledged my "ticket" (request for service)
They no longer have a telephone number so i cannot speak to anyone.
Due to this, unless the item arrives later today, someone in my household is going to be left without a Christmas present!
If anyone from Mighty Deals does monitor this forum i would strongly ask that they contact me in relation to the matter, my contact details are on the customer service request number 998944.0 -

So you are admitting here that it's not even been sent yet. And that's despite being ordered on the 8th with a claim of 10 days to deliver, and despite elskus having already been told that it's been sent.
What utterly pathetic customer service.0 -
Not to be over dramatic but mightydeals ruined my families Christmas. Bought an iPhone voucher in Nov, like many others I recieced the good faulty in end of Nov. Having paid an additional £7 to send the faulty goods back to the hopeless smartcherrymobiles I waited patiently for a refund. 10th dec nothing received, finally got hold of smartcherrymobile by redialling 30 times and was promised a new phone the next day. A week later nothing, contacted smartcherrymobiles again several times and was promised a refund request had gone back to mightydeals. Several online customer service request forms later all closed with a non response I did not get a refund prior to Christmas having already bought the iPhone elsewhere. They still have my £160 and I doubt I will get a refund as they appear to be uncaring, corrupt and must not be allowed to continue to rip people off. I shall contact trading standards in the new year. Doubt the representative will have the guts to respond with a weak apology to this post. DO NOT USE MIGHTYDEALS!0

It's all very well posting on here with standard empty apologies. Why should we use an alternative email address to get our money back? I have sent at least 3 emails and at least 6 customer service tickets but I still get ticket resolved please send tracking ID, which of course I have sent 3 times. Seems to me your company is avoiding paying me back or answering the emails correctly and you coming on here with an automated response is not helping.
Just pay me back the money hou have had for 6 weeks or I will contact trading standards.0
