does the number code work ok in argos store has anybody had a problem.argos on facebook said the stores had not herd of this deal.
  • I recently purchased the £10 Argos voucher for £5 from Mightydeals. I went into Argos and my code was not accepted causing great embarrasment and inconvenience to myself.

I followed the correct procedure requested by Mightydeals to redeem the voucher. I have yet to receive the code of all numbers that Mightydeals refer to on this forum.
This whole situation is a mess and at present Mightydeals have my money and have not provided the service. Some would say thieving.
I have contacted the Mightydeals customer service desk. It states on their website that they will reply within 2 business days. 3 days have now passed and no reply. Disgraceful.

same here i visited the argos store today and the numbers did not work when the staff tried to enter them in the computer all is said was error.
  • Oh lol I'd better earn hubby and get him to contact mighty deals he's not going to be amused he's a busy man and doesn't have time to be messing around.
  • just wondering if anyone has successfully managed to use their argos collection code in store from mighty deals?

ive received the all numbers code and contacted my local store before going down, they said some collection codes are false and haven't been issued by argos which is why they get declined. I asked if they could check the one I have received from mighty deals but they said it is single use so the only way to check it is to go down and try paying with it.

I am going to my local store this evening so will try it then, fingers crossed it works! I hate embarrassing situations. was hoping someone would post in the meantime saying theirs worked!
  • Just to update - argos accepted the £10 voucher, although the till werent recognising it first couple of times but the third time it went through fine

  • I purchased a voucher on mighty deals on he 30th Mar 2014 for a digital camera £288.98 including the extra for postage.

I redeemed my voucher on 31st Mar and received an email confirming redemption. The email said allow up to 24 days for delivery.

I have not received the camera, when I log on to the voucher on the my deals section it says the voucher has expired???

I have sent requests on the website using the 'ticket' system. Each time these requests are being shown as solved but no one is replying to me!!

There are no other contact details showing who is supplying the camera so i have no one else I can contact :-(

    Can anyone help??

    Hi dondon,

I "purchased" the digital camera last week too.
    I'm assuming it's the Nikon D3200?
How are you getting on with your issue with this company?

I redeemed the code but have absolutely no merchant information. Infact, the voucher is showing as expired in my account too but luckily, I have the email showing that I redeemed the voucher!

I'm concerned now that the camera is a grey import as it stated that the charger is an American one and a UK charger will need to be purchased separately (which eats into any saving you make from the deal).

If it does turn out to be an import, does anybody know if I have the right to request a refund as it is not stated anywhere that the camera is an import and I'm worried about warranty cover etc.

I have emailed customer service explaining that, after over a week since paying, I'm almost £300 out of pocket with no merchant info, let alone the camera.

Luckily, I paid via credit card so will pass it over to them if it's not sorted promptly.

Needless to say, I won't use the site again and find it shocking that a company can keep somebodies money if they miss the target time for some reason to redeem a voucher.

Sometimes, it really is better to pay that bit extra for peace of mind!!!
