Family breakdown - never mind just being DH!

Hi pebbles,

Just read through and i'm really sorry to hear what a stressful time you are having.

You are having to deal with 2 major life events at the same time and I think you are coping fantastically all things considered.

I can't offer much advice, but one thing I will say is that how ever hard it may feel, try to give your husband the space he is requesting. His change in attitude may very well be down to the medication, but unless he feels 'heard' he may back off further.

He's still coming n staying tomorrow, says he's happy too. He's staying at his brothers on sat looking after his nephews. Feeling awful right now, sick. :-(

Aww pebbles big hugs, it's baby steps, at least he's coming back for a while. You'll know this but try not to put too much pressure on him just try and enjoy him being there xx

Thanks HH. I just feel really low right now. My sisters been round & helped me pack mums stuff, but really let rip into him about how he's just ran off n left me to it. Also said if needed to not b so soft, I can't help if I weary heart on my sleeve.

Feeling really anxious n scared about tomorrow night to. Why can't everything just go back to how it was last weds. I was happy

pebbles, don't dwell on what your sister said. Anyway, I didn't think your sister was exactly tripping over herself to help you and your OH help your mum. We can all have opinions, but it's those who !!!! up and get on with it who are worth their weight in gold.

You will be happy again. This upheaval is necessary for a happier long term.

And how long was he there supporting you for!, your sister and brother have hardly been there for your mum and were happy to let you both do all the hard work. Take no notice of her xx

Ha if you feel the need to start not being soft, start with her and your brother. She has a hell of a cheek getting on at your husband when she isn't even there and this is her mother.
