No i never thought that!! a quick search shows the same tickets being sold by other people - I thought a warning would suffice!!

My reference to me not being a scammer is in relation to the expectation of the flood of e-mails quoting along the lines of "where's my ******* tickets" blah blah blah

***Amendments to the Contracts and Tickets policy ***
Date: 14/02/05 Time: 03:45:38 PM GMT

We have added a provision to our Contracts and Tickets policy regarding the legal requirement for a business seller when selling event tickets to consumers to state the face value of the ticket. eBay recommends that this information is included in the item description.

Ebay will never provide you a link to click on when the require you to change any user details. They will say....

Access you account as you normaly would (by typing https://www.ebay.co.uk into you interent browser)and then follow these instructions.

the https://www.ebay.co.uk would not be clickable

    Hi

I have been selling on Ebay for approx 6 months and just received this e-mail

    ______________

We regret to inform you that your eBay account has been suspended due
to concerns we have for the safety and integrity of the eBay community.

Per Section 8 of the eBay User Agreement, we may immediately issue a
warning, temporarily suspend, indefinitely suspend or terminate your
membership and refuse to provide our services to you if we believe that
your actions may cause financial loss or legal liability for you, our
users or us. We may also take these actions if we are unable to verify or
authenticate any information you provide to us.

Due to the suspension of this account, please be advised you are
prohibited from using eBay in any way including registering a new account.

Please note that any seller fees due to eBay will immediately become
due and payable. eBay will charge any amounts you have not previously
disputed to the billing method currently on file.

    Regards,

    Investigations Department
    eBay AG________________

I have emailed them and am awaiting a reply - I paid my fees and it pulled all my listings and says i am no longer a registered user

What can i do as i have taken money for items not yet delivered such as event tickets??

    Cheers
If you're touting then I can't say you've got my sympathy. Perhaps Ebay has finally decided to sit up and do something about those anti-social, scummy individuals known as ticket touts.

oops.......... it doesn't state the reason in my e-mail and again, a quick search highlights various sellers not adhering to this policy

Wouldn't a warning suffice initially rather than whip my account from underneath me!!!!

hey, who rattled your cage and oh yeah, i forgot, EVERYONE who sells items on ebay only breaks even!! whether it's tickets, your sisters care bear or david beckhams BMW, people are in it to make a profit and not to offer unique, hard to find items.

I posted here for advice not criticism

    Thank you
