I came here asking for advice independent of what i sold, sorry for the language but if some people have nothing nice to say they shouldn't say anything at all

did i say i sell at cost price? didnt think i did. i make a profit, a very tidy 1 but the difference is i dont rip people off with items that are prohibited and then whinge on here like a little bit#h.

im getting bored of entertaining you now so why dont you scoot off and try and register under a different user name on ebay so as you can get rid of those tickets you have.

perhaps i overeacted slightly here actually. problem is that you were obviously doing wrong for them to pull your auctions and boot you.

i truthfully dont care if you are a tout or what, we all have to make money somehow, but if you have been caught out then take it. i suggest you get in contact with ebay and take it from there.

OK - i prob overeacted also but i don't actually know why i was suspended, that was the reason for my original query.

My tickets sell for around the same as most and some people sell a lot more for the same price so why i got suspended i dont know - i'm not crying just i've got people who've paid me for tickets and i haven't got access to my details as to where to send them - if i was a real tout; i'd do the off but i'm not, i want my account back (feedback of 12 is not much to cry about) i thought i would post to see if anyone had this happened before

the other people selling the same as you who have not been suspended have probably not been reported. you may find that the reason that ebayhave picked up on you is due to the fact that someone has reported you for a bad item.

as for the people paying you and you no longer being able to find theuir details. everybody who has won an item with you will be sent a standard email from Ebay stating that your account has been suspended and that they urge the buyer not to complete the transaction with you. if they already have paid then they will be encouraged to begin the procedure of getting back their money via the complaints procedure.

when the buyer receives this email you will find that they will almost certainly email you asking what is going on. you reply to this and tell them you actually dont know but as long as you have their address you will send them their goods and this should keep everybody happy.

Thank you controller, I've only just logged in this morning but that needed to be said.

MAC123 you keep saying you don't know why you were suspended and no one on here can tell you with 100% certainty why. HOwever, you were selling a potentially prohibited item and that seems the likely cause, that and the fact that you don't have the items in hand at the point of sale.

I'm sorry if you don't like our responses, you asked a question and we have tried to answer as best we can. Other people selling the same things doesn't make it right either, it just means they haven't been caught yet or that they are registered dealers in tickets.

I regularly bid on gig tickets yet I suppose half of the auctions i bid on get pulled before they end due to violations. FOr every one seller you see 'live' on ebay there are probably several others that you don't see because the accounts have already been pulled.

As you have said all you can do is wait for ebay to get back to you, this should be in a few days as far as I understand. It might be something entirely different that got you suspended that is easily rectified so just hang on in there.

I have had a few of these emails over a period of time...

I always send them to ebay and they get back fairly quickly and let me know.
I had another one which asks for a security update with user name and password... ARRRRR !

Don't worry..... they will try anything
