Are peak times considered 7am to 7pm M to F for this contract?

I can now upgraded online here
    https://upgrades.o2.co.uk/index.htm#getMPN

It went all the way through to checkout with keeping existing tariff, extending it for 12 months (!!??) with absolutely no charge. Even gave free next day delivery.

I think this is the bit you need to consider (Extending it for 12 months) what happens after the 12 months ends?

I share your concerns, don't get me wrong. But others on here have done it more than one year with no problems. I can only see one person who has had problems.

It's whether you personally feel it's worth a chance - I haven't been using the card for a couple of years, so at the end of the day if I do end up losing it, I probaly wouldn't miss it much. Also, for a new phone every year, I think it's worth it.

All we can do is help each other and everyone make there own choice
  • After many letters and phone calls O2 have now confirmed that they will no longer be canceling my PUFFL tariff. If anyone wants further info on how i did it let me know.

Just had o2 get me back onto my original net50. Now been told the lifetime offers are all to be terminated within the next month.I asked him if this was allowed, he replied o2 can do as they like as long as we are given 30 days notice.Told me to get in touch with Otelo for confirmation of our rights. Any advice please

well yes they can do what they like but also they have to accept any fallback from it. Most likely outcome if they did cancel is cause they now not honouring the "for life" part of the contract you could get a refund of what you paid for it in the first place.

Phone arrived next day ordered. Nice little toy.

Only a copy of a letter saying thank you for staying with O2 and a copy of O2's T&C's came through in the post. Surprisingly absolutely nothing to sign (one of the click's I did online might have been an online signature/confirmation though)

Checked online and I still on Mytime Net 200 Pay Up Front tariff, no additional charges anywhere and still says upgrade is free.

Online seems easiest way to get this upgrade

This sounds all speculation - the people on the phones are numpties. Wouldn't panic.

I upgraded in the shop 15 months ago and insisted the salesman wrote on my receipt that I was staying on the existing tarrif. Since that time I have been able to view my contract online (I could not do this before upgrading)
My tarriff is still showing the same as yours, and the contact duration shows as unknown. The contract renewal date also shows as unknown, so i am happy with that but I am not going to risk doing it again.
