I updated my phone a few months ago and have an email from o2 telling me I could do so. I can now view my account online where previously I could not. My online account tarriff details say. Mytime Net 200 Pay Up Front.
Contract Duration, Unknown
Contract renewal date. Unknown0 -
Hi all, I was thinking of getting a free phone upgrade to my PUFL, but looking at the latest posts from spinningsheep, maybe its not worth the risk. While I'm writing this, has anyone had an 'O2 Airtime Agreement-Re-sign' form from O2? It says its actually from O2 advance partner and the company name at the footer is Uplands Mobiles Ltd. The letter has my contract number and mobile number on it, so I guess its genuine.
It is requesting me to sign the form to say that I wish to remain on my existing O2 tariff and the smallprint underneath says:
'I understand that a minimum 12 month contract applies or a minimum 18 month (if previous contract was an 18 month agreement) applies. By signing I agree to be bound by the current version(s) of O2's Terms and Conditions.'
Should I sign this?
Am I obliged to sign this?
Surely it should be obvious that I want to remain on this tariff, otherwise I would have contacted them.
Is this a devious way of them getting me off of my PUFL contract after 12 months?
Am I at more risk of losing my PUFL by signing or just ignoring it?
Any help on this would be appreciated.

I've just traded my unused PUFL contract for a free XDA Ignito (HTC Touch Diamond), 600 mins, 1000 texts and unlimited data for £20 per month on an 18 month contract. Well pleased.0

Yes that's what I was thinking too. I don't want to be bound by new terms and conditions which could possibly mean I lose the PUFL. I'm surprised that no one else has had a form like this to sign from O2. If anyone else has, then I'd be interested in knowing what they did or are going to do with it. I may just phone O2 and verbally confirm that I want to remain on my current tariff (PUFL) without actually signing anything, and see if they accept this. I'll let you know how I get on.0

I phoned O2 (actaully it was their partner Uplands Ltd) and verbally confirmed that I wanted to stay on PUFL until further notice and that I didn't want to sign anything that changes the terms and conditions. They said verbal confirmation was fine and they will not be sending me any more airtime agreement forms to sign, so all is OK with my PUFL. I was probably worrying about nothing.0

Hello all you PUFL's
Has anyone noticed a change in the amount of free minutes this month ?
I have signed into my account online at O2 to check my remaining minutes and instead of the usual 50 minutes I seem to have 84 minutes !
I think they have rolled over unused minutes from last month which has never happened before.
I hope this is ongoing and not a glitch !
Happy PUFLing :beer:0 -
Be careful, since the upgrade on O2 systems, the "allowance" has been a little off so don't be surprised if you end up getting charged for it.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0

Anybody upgraded their phone recently? I haven't upgraded at all as when I called up O2 CS ages ago, they said "nay".
Haven't logged in for a while so this in-store upgrading is new to me.
BTW, I originally subscribed to the 50 mins tariff and my O2 bill says 'Alltime 50 Pay Upfront For Life'你是废纸!!!1110
