I'm wondering where the title line goes if we choose to use one in a reply ... eta. Oooh, there it is!

Can't decide if I like this or not. I liked the old fixed width, it was a perfect size for my Netbook (no white space either side unlike some screens). And I liked reading down the text of posts without really paying attention to the lefthand pane to see who wrote the actual post - I find the header to each post (giving poster's name, avatar etc) a little intrusive.

But hey, I'm Taurean. We don't like change

eta2. Waaaaaah Where's the icon in the forum indexes to tell me that I've responded on a thread? Bring it back. NOW!!

MSE'ers (Martin, this includes you) - the forum wasn't broken, it was perfectly fine as it was. All this messing around with it is:-

1. less pleasing to the eyes, and

2.WASTEFUL - IT COSTS MONEY TO DO AND IT DIDN'T NEED MONEY SPENDING ON IT !!!!!!!!!

This bit doesn't really stand out very much now. Maybe put a banner of colour underneath it..?

You can go back to the current fixed width style or the current stretchy style

As in Martin's first post at the beginning of the discussion . If you're still having trouble - though it seems to work okay here - please try clearing your cookies. The quick style change is done by cookies. Clear your cookies and you'll end up back in the style you have selected as your chosen style in the UserCP.
