lol. That really does demonstrate how mind boggling daft such a narrow fixed width default is.
It's fine saying that you have the option to use the stretchy one, but that only works when you are logged in.
this is it
I like a big screen
I paid for a big screen
its bad on the 22" inch screens, but on the full fat 28,its terrible
Asi have said before,I can stay logged in so its not a big issue for me
EDIT: just tried it on the larger 50" plasma scree
now with its lower reslution
that is a much more sensible fit
however, most of us dont use TVs to browse
so,what resolution are the MSE team viewing at?0 -

Fiver29a (Today), Tigsteroonie (Today)

Nooooo! I was using the (very) old "blocky" style skin from a few years ago, and I can't change back! Only the new-look skins are listed in the settings.
Is there any way to get this back?0 -
What I don't like is that it doesn't give the poster's name on the Thanks line now, just says 1 users says thanks for this post. I sometimes read down a thread without noting who is posting on it, and when I see a particularly good reply I can then check out who posted it without having to scroll all the way back up.
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > MoneySaving & The Site > Site Feedback > thread title as to the left is so far away from the top post, can it not be closer?
And why have all this space at the sides, do you intend to fill it in with something?
Sorry don't mean to be rude but the thread title and forum title being so far away and high up from the first post has always bugged meBlackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0 -
The new version is almost unusable on an iPad - each post has centimetres of wasted space - at the top where the username and stats are, and short posts eg skaps's above has over a centimetre of blank space at the bottom, resulting on loads of scrolling being required, only one post is visible per screen. There appears to be no way of telling which threads I have posted in, and which I haven't, with the new version.0
